It’s all part of their incremental approach to getting rid of guns. They don’t really care which is safer or more effective. They just focus on what they perceive as the most dangerous (to tyrants) of weapons, currently modern rifles, and tell us, “See, you can still have your shotguns”. Next would be handguns, as they already know that most gang killings are with handguns. Then they will say it again, “You can still keep your shotguns!”. Even if they could somehow get rid of every weapon but shotguns, then guess what...there would be killings with shotguns, and that would be the end.
I’m more worried about defending my self from subhuman commies who are in positions of power like her.

Did she say what type shotgun? single shot 12 gauge? She’s on record for prohibiting many self-defense shotguns. I believe she’s also on record for stating that her “assault weapon” ban was just a start and she was for getting all firearms out of the hands of the citizenry.
And I’m sure this is understood on their part as well.
And I’m wondering why the push for “buy a shotgun”.
They must not think a shotgun is useful for defending oneself against commies in position of power.

Boston police fired more than 200 rounds from semi automatic weapons at two bombers and didn’t kill either one of them. She wants to limit me to 5 rounds or less in a shotgun?
How magnanimous of her, she is allowed as one of the special class to carry a concealed hand gun, but she will allow us to have a shotgun! When the elite surrender all of their weapons and armed security I might consider listening to them. Then again no, I never did like clowns.
