Then on March 26, 2013 a story from a Hanover, Massachusetts paper:

Explosives cause concern in Hanover
Mark Burridge
Posted: 03/26/2013 10:20 AM

Hanover fire and police departments seek the public’s help in identifying suspects or providing information in relation to two recent incidents where, over the past week, witnesses have reported explosions.

Officials are concerned the explosive devices could lead to injury or property damage. The recovered explosives appear to be homemade.

“We’re hoping neighbors may have seen something that may help us identify those responsible for detonating the devices,” said Hanover Fire Chief Jeff Blanchard.

The first incident was reported at 8:34 p.m. on March 12. Police and fire personnel responded to the area of Pine Street and Tower Hill Drive. Witnesses at the nearby Target store on Washington Street reported seeing a bright flash and hearing two explosions from that area.

Several unexploded devices were found at the scene and later detonated under secure conditions by the State Police Bomb Squad.

The second incident was a few days later at 7:49 p.m. on March 15. The second incident was near the first, in the area of Hearthstone and Fieldstone lanes. The area was searched but no explosives were found.

The use of incendiary or explosive devices in the manner reported is a violation of state law under Chapter 266, sections 102A and 102B. If apprehended, the perpetrator could go to prison for up to 25 years and would face fines up to $50,000.

Any resident with information that may assist investigators in finding the source of these devices should call Hanover Police Officer Stephen Moar at 781-826-2335 or Hanover Fire Captain James Gallagher at 781-826-3151.

Interesting find.

Do you know anything more about this TroyCrossley? He sounds like he is worth investigating.

Thanks. Clearly the trial run.

From the initial report of the damage from the bombs, I doubted they were homemade. Too many casualties. It was reported in the beginning 12 casualties.

Later reports said the bombs were unsophisticated and still later said they were very sophisticated.

Now the issue remains of others involved. And the issue of any involvement with the Saudi (probable royal family member) who was to be deported on Tuesday.

Tomorrow will have a lot more questions to be answered.

Homemade (unsophisticated) or not, I read somewhere the detonator part still need professional training, hence the elder brother's 6-month trip.

Also probably the trial run. Good find, Jim.

With so many enemies of America given carte blanc to be here and so many poor little disgruntled OWSies wanting to change their awful oppressive world, I am honestly shocked that Boston hasn’t happened daily for the last several years.

These idiots worship the Chi’s and Bill Ayres types and their morality has been bred/propagandized out. Every big city has a weapons black market. The end result is pretty predictable.

Nice work, Jim. Sounds like someone has some explaining to do to the FBI.

An IED spelled out is Improvised Explosive Device — the improvised is the same as homemade...improvised, as in “not commercially made”...the MSM is doing everything it can to separate this incident from insurgent warfare as seen in Iraq and Afghan...in Iraq they used propane tanks and other pipe cylinders to construct IED’s from their homes or work shops...what ever they (IEDs) are made from — the intent is to cause death...

These guys were practicing and conducting “rock drills” - I wonder if anyone else was with them — considering the conversation posted - I would say, “YES!”

Agree about America Haters who have been “invited” to US.

And cities are Obozo’s turf. Is this the connection that will eventually expose his past and devour him?

I wonder if big brother was also with them when they tested their bomb making skills.

Feds ask to interview wife of suspected bomber

http://news.yahoo.com/feds-ask-interview-wife-suspected-bomber-043342213.html

DeLuca also offered new details on Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s movements in the days after the bombings, saying the last day he was alive that “he was home” when his wife left for work. When asked whether anything seemed amiss to his wife following the bombings, DeLuca responded, “Not as far as I know.” He said she learned her husband was a suspect in the bombings by seeing it on TV. He would not elaborate.

DeLuca said his client did not suspect her husband of anything, and that there was no reason for her to have suspected him. He said she had been working 70 to 80 hours, seven days a week as a home health care aide. While she was at work, her husband cared for their toddler daughter, DeLuca said.

“When this allegedly was going on, she was working, and had been working all week to support her family,” he told the AP.

Only the detonators required much sophistication, not enough info yet to know if they used cellphones. We may never be told.

I assume they had an electronic timer to trigger a blasting cap. Read somewhere they identified manufacturer of the battery that was used.

Short leads on a electric blasting cap could have been used with an internal timer in the bomb. That would reduce stray pickup on wires in the system. Have heard that we used generator systems in sandpile to detonate some of their IEDs.

Hand placing the explosive has some risk for the one who delivers It.

***** When asked whether anything seemed amiss to his wife following the bombings, DeLuca responded, “Not as far as I know.” *****

I guess even though she lives in the directly affected area she didn’t tune into the TV, radio, or co-worker’s conversations, and happened to miss it when her husband’s and brother-in-law’s photos became available.

She’s probably just overworked and underpaid and too tired to pay much attention to local terrorist bombings and stuff.

Not only not enough info, but much conflicting info has been reported in the news.

I get a chuckle about the MSM news folks attempting to blow off social media for their “accuracy” issues. Looks at the lack in the MSM.

It is one thing to get it wrong. But quite another to intentionally get it wrong. i.e. Propaganda

The 2010 Times Square pressure-cooker bomb was, fortunately, a dud -- but these guys' bombs had a pretty good detonation rate for a couple of amateur bomb builders. My first guess was that they had more knowledge about building bombs than could be acquired from plans found on the internet and some experiments with gunpowder in the woods.

Another guess is that one of the reasons for the 6 month trip to Russia (exchange student at Terrorist U. in Chechnya?) was to avoid the need for experimentation here, which could attract unwanted attention.

I'm very interested in what the Russians might know about what was going on during the missing 6 months.

The need for sophistication is a safety factor, they don't want anything likely to be set off by a stray signal from a kid's R/C helicopter.

I made a control for one of my point and shoot cameras using the electronics and a servo from an R/C race car. A kid down the road used the same frequency and every so often he could fire my remote camera off. I probably crashed his car a few times too.

Troy describes himself as a rapper. Seems like standard Obamavoter material.

He also seems to insist that the bombers were paid by the gov for running “a test”.

Anyway, he has several sites. Not as if he’s difficult to pick up.
