Feinwhine thinks regular system of justice is ample to try this case, not a military type trial.

She regrets ‘all of this discussion’ about whether he should be tried as an enemy combatant ...

Peter King disagrees, bring up the question ‘where did they get their weaponry’ etc.

Feinstein — ‘we do not know specifics’ [regarding whether they had foreign connections] but she does reference Russia asking the US to investigate the older Jihadist and his overseas trip.

King says he isn’t worried about the conviction (which Feinstein is), but he is interested in possible intelligence information they can gleen from Jihadist Junior.

The solution is too simple for politicians. Try him in Federal Court but never read him his Miranda Rights. Investigate as long as you want then at trial simply don’t use any of his statements as evidence.

Okay, since we’re on the subject, I am hearing all sorts of folks debate the issue of “enemy combatant” vs. “defendant” and the sides taken are on both sides of the fence.

I also know that Eric Holder, who I’ve no doubt takes bribes from people to NOT investigate them....he is the bag man for the Obama administration in fact....decided on the defendant status and right there I’m suspicious.

I’d like to see more information on this subject to clear my confused mind. Fox had some seriously conservative folks espousing the defendant status so this also confused me.

Might be a job for Kabar.
