I still sew with needle and thread.
Found it ... Was very interested in the LM105 .338 Lapua Mag till I saw I’d have to rechamber my Dakota Arms Longbow for the overall length aka c.o.l ...... Very very good read !
Lots of great info....
Modify a lot of my clothing to fit my needs, wear from holsters, pocket knife clip wear, pen slots and sleeves for pen and phone. Tailor custom pockets inside waistband for a SD card or a few Benjamin’s hidden for emergencies etc... Kevlar cord hidden under logos and labels etc ...
Parachute riggers used to do such for us but, retired now so I’m on my own. girl friday sews but I like to do my own modifications.
Magnetized sewing needle for sewing and improvised floating compass is in the wallet and my boot laces are 550 cord. I can salvage massive amount of sewing thread from the guts of the 550 cord if need it.
Sewing is one of my renaissance man skills Mom made me learn long ago.

Yes sometimes I do feel like part of an alien world. I don’t think that the politicians and the media can understand us.
I am restoring an old 7mm Mauser, if I can get some reloadable brass I would love to load some paper patched rounds.
If they can’t grok the basic nomenclature of the components of a firearms cartridge I don’t think they have what it takes to understand rational intelligent human beings. lol
Lots of good how to videos on you tube.... Really interesting how the accuracy actually improved in some of old legends ...cast soft lead, paper patched and some of the shooters were impressive and extreme ranges.
