Sen. Marco Rubio (R.-Fla.), one of eight senators who have crafted legislation that would put illegal aliens on a path to U.S. citizenship, explained in a Senate floor speech yesterday that one of the reasons he wants to do this is that he believes illegal aliens are currently driving on U.S. roads without drivers licenses and auto insurance and his bill would encourage them to get licenses and buy insurance.
Rubio explained that under his bill, ilegal aliens who “have committed serious crimes” will be deported. However, the proposal will apparently not deem as a serious crime the habit of routinely driving without a driver's license. …

Never saw the appeal of this guy. I have conservative friends that see a Ronald Regan in the rough....I’ll pass.
Maybe we can start opening businesses without doing all that pesky government paperwork too and then FORCE the government to go easy on us like the illegal alien pressure groups do....
Its like cute boy Rubio called on Satan and asked him to get him into the WH as POTUS and then Satan replied to him : ‘No problem, but I want immigration reform first(or in return), so here is what you must do to get your wish.....’
This sounds like another Bush-McCain immigration reform disaster.

So many laws these days are only followed by us “law abiding chumps” then so many other laws are either not enforced at all or selectively enforced, so to paraphrase Rand Paul we have a “defacto tyranny”

I think that was Schumer’s plan. Either he gets his immigration plan, or he takes out Rubio for 2016. He knew conservatives would never sit still for what Rubio is doing.

I just get so frustrated when an issue is really so simple and the politicians make it so complicated. Just enforce the laws!! Don’t reward criminals!! What really gets me is these politicians know better, they just have an agenda and think we are stupid enough to go along with their craziness. Many people are that stupid but I hope enough are aware that amnesty will not happen, I hope and pray people will wake up before it is too late.

Rubio has lost any and all credibility on this issue, and damaged his overall credibility as a “conservative” greatly.
He is not the future of the Republican party if it’s supposed to be conservative.
