Chechen president: ‘Seek the roots of this evil in America,’ where Tsarnaevs were raised
Hotair ^ | 04/19/2013 | MARY KATHARINE HAM

The statement of Ramzan Kadyrov, Kremlin-backed president of Chechenya, blames the Tsarnaevs’ American upbringing for their actions and criticizes law enforcement for killing Tamerlan Tsarnaev in a shootout Thursday night:

“Tragic events have taken place in Boston. A terrorist attack killed people. We have already expressed our condolences to the people of the city and to the American people. Today, the media reports, one Tsarnaev was killed as [police] tried to arrest him. It would be appropriate if he was detained and investigated, and the circumstances and the extent of his guilt determined. Apparently, the security services needed to calm down the society by any means necessary,” says Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov.

“Any attempt to draw a connection between Chechnya and Tsarnaevs — if they are guilty — is futile. They were raised in the United States, and their attitudes and beliefs were formed there. It is necessary to seek the roots of this evil in America. The whole world must struggle against terrorism — that we know better than anyone else. We hope for the recovery of all the victims, and we mourn with the Americans.”

The statement was apparently released on Instagram.

Update: Or, there were these influences. Dave Weigel reports on the muftis and other Islamic/Salafist leaders the bombers quoted.

There’s a growing cult of personality, or indeed three personalities: Ramzan Kadyrov; his late father Akhmad Kadyrov, who was president of Chechnya until he was killed in a 2004 bombing; and Vladimir Putin. Grozny’s main street is now called Putin Avenue. Images of both Kadyrovs and Putin adorn almost every building in the capital.

It is actually amazing this guy is still alive. He has been nailed in video with women in very compromising circumstances, there is nothing of the usual chechen personality about him. He has no warrior mentality or devotion to Ikcheria. He is not a chechen but a Russian with, I recall, many medals of something or other from Putin.

The Chechen president might have a point.
On TV and radio they are asking "Where did these guys get radicalized?"
It could have happened in institutes of higher learning right there in Cambridge.

Cambridge, the mecca of communism and even the communist party is strong.
Growing up around radical lefty’s blaming America all the time, hearing how it’s America fault is most of MA.

After living up there and my misses is form there who I got out of there thankfully as she is then there are some really nutty people .

Just look at the TV and look in the background at the people.
Women with short hair for some reason is the fashion and look boyish, men look like girlie.
Students galore with radical views, left over 60’s radicals, unions etc.

Hell the only reason why these bombers showed up is because of a failed car jacking and they still get away after a car chase and a shoot out.

I;ts turning into a fiasco.

As for liberal tolerant diverse MA, then they soon tackled the Saudi guy who we don’t know about because he got flown out of the country, nah no racial profiling there.

‘Seek the roots of this evil in America,’ where Tsarnaevs were raised

That would, in part, depend upon the reasons why these two jihadis committed this act of terrorism! Major Nidal Hassan was born in the U.S., but the roots of his evil come from the Middle East.

I think this book explains everything we need to know.

“Chechen Jihad: Al Qaeda’s Training Ground and the Next Wave of Terror”

“Yossef Bodansky, the author whose #1 New York Times bestseller Bin Laden: The Man Who Declared War on America first introduced American readers to al Qaeda’s evil mastermind prior to 9/11, returns to sound an important alert. In this authoritative look at the roots of modern terrorism, Bodansky pinpoints the troubled region of Chechnya as a dangerous and little-understood crucible of terror in the struggle between East and West. Drawing on mountains of previously unseen intelligence from Islamist movements and other military and intelligence sources from throughout the Middle East, Russia, and Central Asia, Chechen Jihad offers an intimate and startling portrait of the jihadist movement that is astonishing in its detail and chilling in its implications—including new insights into the Chechen jihadists’ secret role in fighting against U.S. forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. An authoritative work of reportage and analysis, Chechen Jihad also points to a new way forward in the struggle to face down the challenges of international Islamist terrorism.”

Honestly we have to ask ourselves what exactly do muslim men have to assimilate to in America? My answer there is nothing for them except Jihad, so I expect alot more young muslim males to take this up.

In fact this is really just so funny. At one time there was a set of videos on the internet called the white book. They were part of a set of videos that Putin took on his dog and pony show to Europe to get them to stop condemning him for his harsh treatment of Ikcheria.

I think it was in Denmark that people vomited, passed out and left the room as the videos were being shown.

I have seen many of them - fingers being sawed off of a child as she was taped screaming. A decapitated head being kicked around like a football. Lots of beheadings. Some fingers being shot off.

The child in the above video, fyi, was about 6 and kidnapped from her bedroom in Moscow. Held for ransom, finally returned with many missing fingers. They tried to bring her here to the US to talk and we denied them the opportunity. Her father was a famous radio personality in Moscow.

Additionally I spoke Russian fairly well and monitored the terrorist website Kavakaz for years. It was commonplace for them to post pics of Russian soldiers with their pants down around their legs and blood everywhere. Lying on the ground. Chechens standing around laughing as they took pics.

Once they had blown up a Russian soldier transport, the chechens would go and pick at the dead bodies and hold up parts on a stick. I saw it often on Kavkaz.

It is in fact the chechen culture which promotes violence and killing. The stories they read to their young children are loaded with things like impalings, etc.

Sorry - one more story I just recalled. I was for a time on a pro-chechen list with many from the netherlands, etc, who were anti-Russian and pro-chechen, but also some chechens.

A poster said he had a video of a oh maybe 5 month old infant being disemboweled in front of the Russian mother. The incredible responses from many on the list were to inquire how they could purchase a copy of that video.

This pinhead is stating the same thing as the father of these two Islamic jihadists, who, after his little diatribe, was picked up by the Russian police, lol.

The Russians pretty much razed Grozny, I think in 1995, but it has been re-beautified under the Russian prop president. Grozny in 2007
