I wouldn’t assume the grenades were military issue of any sort. Could be a generic description. Plus, it’s the news, and who knows what remark (by who) managed to make the news. I heard that some observer overheard a cop say something about a bag of grenades.
Think about it, in America they are taught we are racist, discriminate against muslims, Bush kills muslims, Christianity sucks, our ally Israel oppresses Palestinians, Islam is great. That is the curriculum. Damn well know they are not taught America is a great country.
