New York Times Pulls Reporter From Daily Coverage of Gosnell Murder Trial

No sooner did the New York Times send a reporter to cover the murder trial of embattled abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell did the Gray Lady pull the reporter from daily coverage. Instead, the venerable newspaper will cover only “highlights” of the trail, which has weeks left to go.

Local reporter JD Mullane of the Bucks County Courier Times, sent a tweet late Wednesday afternoon indicating the Times was pulling its reporter.

“New York Times bails on daily coverage #Gosnell trial. Will cover “highlights” only,” he wrote.

One of the biggest and most barbaric murder (except libs don't consider this murder) trials in history, and the vast majority of people in this country don't even know about it because television news refuses to cover the trial. And if the print media mentions it, they bury it on page 15.

Even NYT reporter couldn't stomach what was being testified.

NYT feared reporting verbatim on the procedures that Gosnell and others participated in.

Either that, or the reporter begged the Times to remove him for he was having to leave frequently to throw up!

I sure HOPE that NO ONE on this site is surprised that this story is being SPIKED by the mainstream media.

...but I know better. I know that LOTS OF PEOPLE HERE (perhaps a majority) are surprised and confused by this. They think this has never happened before.

How do I know it? Simply, I point out how STUPID it is for those same parents here to send their kids to public schools - yet they still defend the decision.

We have a LONG WAY to go.

Even the Times found a couple of reporters who couldn't swallow what Gosnell was delivering.

Bet that surprised the management team. There is, after all, othing too barbaric for the Times.

It’s enough to gag a maggot.

Personally I feel Gosnell is an animal, but I feel that those who worked for him are as bad as he was.

Sure they are testifying, but for a deal. Where were they when all of this was going on?

Why didn’t one or two of them try to clean the place?

If it were up to me I would hang the whole friggin bunch.

Plus some health department scum that allowed it to go on.

Well, the media accomplished what it set out to do. The trial is nearing it’s end, and the media has all but totally ignored it. Mission accomplished for them.

LifeNews asked Gabriel why the Times pulled him and received confirmation that he will not cover the Gosnell trial on a daily basis. After all, the Time has “other stories to cover.”

Other stories like the ricin letters that were mailed out last week. Oh wait, those were mailed by a Democrat. Well, they'll find something to put in the paper, After all, it's all the news that's fit to print.

CDC, health inspectors, and hospital corruption in the cover ups. Possibly extends to other communities as well.

Far ranging implications.

I decided to reread Frank E Peretti’s novel Prophet after seeing the Gosnell trial in the news. It’s amazingly on target - dead women, dead babies, cover ups by the news media, government regulators looking away for political reasons, doctors and hospitals who don’t really want to rock the boat, stonewalling of anyone trying to investigate, and ultimately exposure.

I would say the implications are unlimited.
Politicians, Health Departments Political correctness, Radical feminists? All played a part.

You are so right. Everyone involved in this should be prosecuted. How could you watch a newborn swimming in a toilet and not reach in and pull it out? How could you crush an infant’s spine with scissors? How could anyone with any humanity work there year after year? Nobody needs a job that bad. The workers are just as deranged as Gosnell.
