Salah Barhoun, 17, said he went to the police yesterday to clear his name after he found himself tagged in pictures online. He had just gone to watch the race, he said, but soon after the explosions, he was singled out by internet sleuths as looking suspicious. Federal authorities passed around images of Barhoun, attempting to learn more information about him, sources told ABC News.

So now that he has been cleared, maybe Mr Blue Jacket and Mr White Hat can tell us what the hell was in the black backpack that was so heavy? Why do we see them at the race with the back pack and then later on without it? Where did it go?

I have not seen any pictures without them having the bag or back pack with them.
There is an overhead crowd shot that appeared to show them walking without the backpack. It will try to find it.
Nice story, but I don’t see how that proves they weren’t involved. According to the story one of them posted to his facebook page that he wasn’t involved and that he was going to the authorities to clear it up. It says shortly thereafter he posted again that he cleared his name and all is fine. Could he have really cleared it up that fast if he is in fact the person the authorities were trying to locate? Is it possible that he was already in custody and that the FBI posted to the mans facebook page because they were still searching for the other guy? I guess we’ll know soon enough, but I’m not ready to rule him out based on his facebook page.

that’s ok... you just have to look at all the facts. These 2 guys stayed around for many hours in the same area. Not something a bomber would do, it’s not their MO. The guy who produced all these photos with circles and notes on them was really reaching.
