Cops are seeking these two men (above) who were spotted near the site of the Boston blasts. Investigators probing the deadly Boston Marathon bombings are circulating photos of two men spotted chatting near the packed finish line, The Post has learned.
In the photos being distributed by law-enforcement officials among themselves, one of the men is carrying a blue duffel bag. The other is wearing a black backpack in the first photo, taken at 10:53 a.m., but it is not visible in the second, taken at 12:30 p.m.
“The attached photos are being circulated in an attempt to identify the individuals highlighted therein,” said an e-mail obtained by The Post. “Feel free to pass this around to any of your fellow agents elsewhere.”

If that guy is Moroccan, that country has a long history of producing excellent long distance runners. In that case this guy could have finished the race close to two hours before the four hour time period and been dressed and standing around waiting for a slower teammate....who knows?
I did listen for a while at least.

If a fellow Moroccan took 4 hours to run the race, that guy wouldn’t be standing around - he would have left in shame. They are very good runners.

To give time for the runners to approach the finish line, and the crowd there to reach maximum size. I recall seeing that they used "egg timers" to set the explosives off. I'm not aware of any mechanical timers of that sort having very long maximum time settings.
A quick search shows that most such timers have a maximum time of one hour, so they would need to near the spot where they intended to set the bombs off up until one hour before the end of the race.
These authorities are about 24 hours late to the party. People on the internet and here at FR all had these two guys pegged about 20 minutes after the first photos were circulated yesterday morning.
The authorities were apparently all looking for angry white men. We were all looking for younger Arabs. These guys stood out like a sore thumb. We were right. They wasted a good 24 hours because they wanted to be politically correct.
They probably flew back to Yemen sometime yesterday while Obama was melting down over his failure to exploit the Sandy Hook massacre.
Political Correctness kills.

This could be because then Obama has to actually look like he is doing something to confront another nation. This way it can go on and on and on without the public actually knowing who is doing it. This deportation may be part of that.
Yeah, but in this case the maximum crowd size was around 2:10 to 2:30 race time when the elite runners would be crossing the finish line. The bombs did not go off until the crowd was much thinner at 4:09.

Most of these photos were posted on FR yesterday, but there is a new version in which a "live" photo of the probable perps is superimposed on "ground zero" after the fact -- this is very convincing.
I don't think there can be much doubt anymore that the two operatives are Middle Eastern. Hence Obama's attempts at distraction.

Goes to show that the authorities are playing catch-up.
I'm not convinced that these are the guys based upon the photos and other info that has been released so far. The guy with the white cap is carrying a dark backpack that seems to blend in with his dark jacket and as a result, I can't tell from the NY Post photos (as well as the other photos that were all over the internet yesterday) whether or not he still has the backpack in later photos. Also, if he planted the backpack with the bomb in it sometime prior to 12:30 pm, then what are the odds that the backback would remain in the same spot unmolested for over three hours until the bombs went off? The area was crawling with uniformed and plain clothed LEO as well as private security and petty thieves.
With that said, there were reports late yesterday afternoon about a video of a dark-skinned guy wearing a black jacket, white hoodie, and cap turned backwards, dropping a backpack in the area where the second bomb exploded across from Saks Fifth Avenue. Directly to the left of the two guys in the photo there is another guy who meets the description of the guy in the alleged video.
