everyoen is applauding hter decision but the plain truith of the matter is that htis bill shoudl NEVER have goen to the floor in the first place because it was a capitualtion to the left indicatign to them thwat this unconstitutional law was ok to brign to the floor for a vote- Yuo can bet the farm that this trial balloon was an attempt to get the republicans to ALLOW the floor vote and that future Unconstitutional bills WILL be brought to the floor now thatthey know that the republicans don’t have spien enough to say “No way are you bringign an unconstitutional law to the floor for a vote- we will NOT betray the American peopel that way!”

A victory for who?

A victory for freedom!

Now talking about the Newtown victims again and playing the Gabby card.

“If this congress fails to listen, the real impact will have to come from the voters.”

We still need the names of the GOP traitors that voted for this UNCONSTITUTIONAL Bill.

Just heard the communist speak about the gun bill failure, he’s more angry about people getting to keep their first amendment rights than about the terrorist attack in Boston!

He’s just steamed because he can’t control events no matter how many speeches he makes or how many victims he drags out.

[[After today’s drubbing in the Senate]]

I would exactly call a 6 vote loass a drubbing- infact, the republicans who did vote no mostl ikely only did so because they vote looked liek it was not goign ot pass and they didn’t want to be the oens voting for it IF it was goign to fail

Yes, republicans voted party lien THIS time- but what about next time when they are bribed to vote for the bill? Hell- we even had Ted Cruz cosntructing another gun bill- We HAVE a gun bill- it’s called the 2n’d amendment

Now the le3ft gets to whien about hte ‘do nothing right wing’ and gets to convince americaqn public that the republicans ‘don’t care abotu kids because they refused to vote for the bill’- They succeeded in portraying the republicans as ‘throwign granny over the cliff’ and now they get to portray the right as child haters thanks to the sinelessness of hte right who ALLOWED and UNCONSTITUTIONAL Bill to make it to the floor for vote-

Woudl htey allow a constitutional bill which VIOLATES free speech to go to the floor for a vote?

This was not a win for hte right- thsi was a win for the left who now know they can brign ANY unconstitutional bill they want to the floor for a vote- and eventually they WILL get a few through

[[sad thing is, is again, an unconstitutional law failed to pass the senate by only four votes]]

Precisely!

[[and don’t for a second think it’s over.]]

Now that they were successful gettign the UNCONSTITUTIONAL bill to the floor- this has set a precedent that the left can bringm ore andm ore UNCONSTITUTIONAL bills to hte floor until they get one or several through thanks to traitorous republicans

The republicans BETRAYED the American peopel by allowign this to go to the floor for a vote- they had a PERFECT opportunity to send a very clear message that they would NOT betray the peopel by allowing an UNCONSTITUTIONAL bill to make it to the floor- but they refused to do what they were elected to do- protect our rights!

I like to see hte prompter hacvked to read “And I woudl liek to thank the Republicans for standing up for the constitution and the rights of the people” and then watch his face turn very very angry as it dawns on him that h’es just been duped

You mean “Second” amendment rights.

But you are right, he is...
