Anthony Weiner is on a roll.
A week after floating his name as a possible mayoral candidate, the disgraced former congressman finishes second when he’s included in the field of Democrats, a new poll reveals.
Weiner — who resigned from office in 2011 after getting caught in a sexting scandal — said he’s mulling a political comeback by running for mayor.

Wiener should take a picture of his pole having risen and email it to as many females as possible. Thereby ‘standing up’ to his infamous reputation as true ladies’ man.
If Charlie Manson puts a “D” after his name I am reasonably sure he would get elected in most blue areas of the country. Heck, who knows, he could even get elected president.

Oh, and another thing: Wiener on a roll. Most appropriate, especially if it’s Nathan’s or Hebrew National’s wiener.
Perhaps one of those purveyors could hire Anthony to endorse their product. I mean it’s not every day that a true Wiener endorses a wiener.

I really hope New Yorkers elect the underwear flasher. Then New York will be a worldwide joke.

It used to be that when you embarrassed yourself and publicly shamed your family you slunk off into obscurity and saved everyone the embarrasment of having to deal with you
Now you ‘stage a comeback’.
I predict he will fall short with an impotent campaign.
Politicians from both parties can do any damned thing they want, and by wrapping themselves in either God or their spouse claim that they’ve been forgiven and are worthy of another chance. And we wonder why we have the government we do.
Given the sick, perverted nature of American society in general, Weiner could run for President and win rather comfortably. Never, ever underestimate the level of stupidity of the American voter.
This was a resume enhancer for family values and trust
with the DNC and New Yorkers.
As insanely left-wing and liberal as NYC may be, the last Democrat NYC mayor was David Dinkins, who left office December 31, 1993. The tragedy here is that nationally the Democrats don't arrange themselves into a circular firing squad like this. (But the Republicans, unfortunately, do.)

And the hilarious thing about that is... NYCers are convinced they're the most sophisticated, enlightened and downright awesome people on the face of the earth.
