They [colleges] should be able to stay afloat on tuition payments and private donations, if they produce graduates who are employable.

Aw, c'mon! How are the high level bureaucrats going to have the college's carpenty staff work on their houses if the colleges don't have the extra dollars?

How are asst. provosts going to hire their girlfriends and the girlfriends use federal work/study dollars to hire students to babysit their kids?

How are the aforementioned asst. provost's girlfriends going to buy computer games and high-end video equipment on the taxpayers' dime?
