I have also never heard of a battery powered pressure cooker. My sister has one to cook rice, it has to be plugged into the wall

You don’t need a plug or batteries for your pressure cooker to do this. Not gonna elaborate as the idiot media is already filling up with “How To” guides today.

In the Third World, pressure cookers are not electric, they get heated by being put on top of a range, or on a fire. The purpose of the cooker is to serve as a bomb casing.
