(TeaParty.org) We the Tea Party stand with the good patriots of Boston. Todays senseless and tragic terrorist attack on the Boston Marathon is an abhorrence to liberty and freedom. The 238th Annual Patriots Day commemoration of the anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, which signifies the starting of a revolution, has been marred by a new type of enemy.
This enemy lurks in the shadows, reaching out with a death grip to harm innocent men and women as they go about their everyday lives. The cowardly acts of these terrorists are despicable and antithetical to what America stand for. They are an affront to Judeo-Christian principles, which keep this nation great.
If left unchecked, these terrorist acts will demand armed citizens assist in both law enforcement and peacekeeping for the reestablishment of domestic tranquility.
The Tea Party hopes and prays that unspeakable events like this will not be repeated. However, after witnessing the horrific events in Boston, it is evident that an unarmed nation should not even be a consideration.
An armed citizenry can help stop terrorists even before such cruel and inhumane actions like the bombing of helpless citizens take place.
Todays first responderspolice, fire departments, hospital staff and other agenciesare to be commended for their swift and courageous actions. While these men and women race fearlessly into the face of unknown tragedy, they should feel confident that the American citizens have their back.
The American people must not back down.
We must not go silently into the night because of an abominable and violent attack against fellow patriots. Just as the 9/11 attacks, Pearl Harbor and other cowardly assaults on America shocked our nation, our response was firm and it was strong.
As Americans must stand our ground and say NO! to anything that would weaken us or take away our rights to defend ourselves, our neighbors and our country.
Our prayers go out to all of those affected by this horrific tragedy and to those who have fallen victim. The Tea Party pledges to do everything we can to assist law enforcement and able-bodied citizens to find the perpetrators of this vile, disgusting act against humanity.
We shall not go quietly in the night. We will take our stand and let the world know: you dont tread on America.
Dear Patriot:
We had a tragedy in Boston yesterday. On a day that was to be filled with jubilance culminating in finishing an iconic marathon that thousands had trained years for, multiple bombs were detonated. We dont know much, but we know that people died, including an 8 year old boy, and hundreds more were injured, many gruesomely.
What saddens my heart is that within moments after this terrorist attack, members of the lamestream media, from MSNBCs Chris Matthews to the New York Times Nicolas Kristof, CNNs Wolf Blitzer, and CNNs Luke Russert, used this opportunity of grief, death, and shock to further their agenda to paint the members of the Tea Party Movement as radical, dangerous, and violent extremists with absolutely no evidence to connect any member of the movement to this violent, terrorist act.
It is shameful that a group of people who merely stand for the Constitution and the freedoms that it grants us are smeared in such a disgusting way. During this time, the country should band together. The people should be outraged. We should be ultra protective of our freedom and our way of life; determined to not allow fear to prevent us from living life. WE CANNOT LET THEM WIN.
Stand with Boston
Regardless of your political affiliation, above all else, we are Americans. Whoever did these terrible acts are COWARDS. Those in the media who are smearing this movement are aiding an abetting this cowardice. We cannot allow their attempt to create fear, their attempt to alter the way in which we live our life, take hold. We must send a message that we will NOT cower to their terroristic tactics.
As I sit writing this email, I am reminded of a song that we sang nearly every day when I attended Girls State, oh so many years ago.
This is my country
Land of my birth
This is my country
Grandest on Earth
I pledge thee my allegiance
America the bold
For this is my country
To have and to hold
THIS is my country and we will stand by her and defend all that she stands for.

Not to be picky, but the battles of Lexington and Concord were on April 19, 1775.
It is unchecked! Our Government is too busy taxing us to death and has weaken the only strength America has, it's people. The communists Democratic party has destroyed America with this green crap that has regulated America to a stalled Nation. We have nothing from Government worthwhile because of their constant destroying our freedoms instead of protecting up.
The leftist loons don’t care. Why should we?
(Just kidding, of course.)
