“Vow”, is that anything like the promise one makes when taking an Oath of Office? You know, kinda like defending and upholding the constitution as specified in Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution:
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Seems like if you don’t keep a solemn oath, you sure ain’t a gonna be keepin’ no vow. Maybe he meant vowel and he was just asking for a clue.
