“Gun violence” is a propaganda metric. Consider “Hospital Deaths”. Millions of people die each year in hospitals. We can stop all “hospital deaths” by banning hospitals. They we will no longer have millions of “hospital deaths”, but of course, the total number of deaths per year will go up.
Total homicides are the proper measure. I bet the “gun violence” in these numbers includes suicides, for example.
For those who are interested, here is an explanation of the difference in homicides between Europe and the United States. It is demographics, not guns.

They deliberately picked the top 10 conservative leaning states and left out all others...and didn’t mention that little tidbit.
Every one of these states have a large number of non-white and non-anglo populations.....that is the #1 glaring stat

This is BS! Philadelphia and Chicago, not to mention NYC, LA, etc.? They had to have removed the big blue states like CA, NY, & IL to get these figures!

Look at the Murders in Louisiana, your gonna find most all of them are Drug related in Drug areas. MOST of the Gun Ownership is OUTSIDE NEW ORLEANS! Which is a PROBLEM!! New Orleans is WHERE MOST OF THE MURDERS HAPPEN!!!
This is what happens when someone wants the numbers to fit their “Cause” anti gun B.S.
