NY Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Machiavellian Plot to ignore and subvert the Rights of potentially millions of NY State residents developed another layer late Sunday.
After breaking the story of Amhurst NY Area Resident David Lewis having his lawfully purchase and legally owned firearms confiscated by order of the State Police after a flagrantly illegal and Un-Constitutional review of his medical records , Word came to me in my capacity as in journalist late Sunday that NY Officials have apparently doubled down on their sinister plot and blatant abuse of power.
My sources revealed that two prominent and well regarded Buffalo Area Psychiatrists received subpoenas from State Officials, possibly on Friday April 12th 2013, commanding them to turn over all of their patient files to the State. Details are sketchy at this early stage, but I have been told that both Doctors have in house counsel as well as potentially consulting with the Law Firm of Jim Tresmond, Firearms Law Specialist and the Attorney of Record for Mr Lewis.
What is clear is that those subpoenas would have to have been issued by someone in the State’s Attorney’s Office. What remains unknown at this point is whether the order or request for the subpoenas originated with the Superintendent of the NY State Police, Joseph D’Amico or from the Office of the the Commissioner of the NY State Division of Criminal Justice Services or one of his lieutenants.

Popular among many leftwing ruling class and MSM folks, long-time radio talk-show personality Don Imus, whose shtick is to ridicule and name call, says the mouth-breathing, conservative dopes should accept background checks.
Frankly I don't see how the volatile Imus could pass such a review given his past decades of illegal drug use and drunkenness; he's bragged about the guns he owns and the ones he carries in his limo. He must feeeeeeeeeel confident that he will be immune.
Many on the left likely feeeeeeeeel the same way. Looks like we'll see. They probably will be immune. It's what liberals/progressives do and get away with.

We (and they) tend to look at this from the viewpoint of a gun owner that has been to a shrink.
However, one can make a STRONG ARGUMENT in the opposite direction too. For example, what about someone who owns guns and is considering treatment? I would expect MANY of them to try to stay away from treatment. Same for someone who may be a gun rights supporter. Or, perhaps worse, someone who has a borderline-psycho kid in the house and keeps his guns safely locked up...I can ASSURE you that the kid will not be getting treatment.
We call all this “unintended consequences”.
I watched. When that movie came out it was difficult to find a kind word for the lead on this site. My how popular opinion has turned.
Possibly. But it's whacko psychiatrists that got homosexuality removed from the list of mental diseases/abnormal behavior. I'm sure there are more than a few of these progressive nut-cases that are more than willing to add a new mental disease to the list: the desire to own guns.
My view is that New Yorkers have already defined themselves as sheeple simply by their address - the Left’s hometown. They will never do anything as absolutely personal as defend their right of self-defense.

This is really chilling. I can see how they might mandate reporting of dangerous people, but I don’t see how they can take the most confidential of records of all patients.

We cannot possibly out vote NYC. Once again the founders knew what would happen if large population bases gained too much political power hence the much hated Electoral College which was their attempt to give rural American close to an equal footing.
In upstate NY, Dairy farms, vineyards, are the big “industries” not the money churners and purveyors of much of the smut you see in the media. The largest cash crop in NYS....... Cabbage, I kid you not.
Once you get a way from the minority controlled cities, NY is beautiful albeit with a communist government fueled by NYC immigrants, half-breeds, druggies, maggot infested, scum.

He will prevent any investigation of the Cuomo mafia and will certainly prevent his removal from office no matter how many Amendments he violates as NY does not give a rats behind regarding the US Constitution.
