(CNSnews.com) - According to a Pennsylvania grand jury, Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the wealthy Philadelphia abortionist now on trial for seven counts of murdering babies who had survived his late-term abortions, repeatedly sliced the necks of born babies in front of a teenage employee, and once told his long-time assistant (the teenager's mother) that a writhing born baby whose neck he had just severed was like a "chicken with its head cut off."

The citizens of Nazi Germans also turned a blind eye to the murder of millions.
Hopefully in the penitentiary the same observation will be made of the good doctor when he gets shanked.
District Attorney of the city of Philadelphia R. Seth Williams “My comprehension of the English language can’t adequately describe the barbaric nature of Dr. Gosnell. . . Pennsylvania is not a third-world country, . . . There were several oversight agencies that stumbled upon and should have shut down Kermit Gosnell long ago.” Bags and bottles of aborted fetuses “were scattered throughout the building . . . There were jars, lining shelves, with severed feet that he kept for no medical purpose.”[34]
Outgoing Governor Ed Rendell (D-PA) criticized Department of Health officials saying; “I was flabbergasted to learn that the Department of Health did not think their authority to protect public health extended to clinics offering abortion services”.[35]
Incoming Governor Tom Corbett (R-PA) was disappointed that Pennsylvania Department of Health officials had done such a poor job of inspecting abortion facilities, saying through a spokesperson that he was; “appalled at the inaction on the part of the Health Department and the Department of State.”[36]
Mayor Michael Nutter (D-Philadelphia) said; “I think it’s quite clear that, if these allegations are true, we’ve had a monster living in our midst” while vowing to watch the city’s remaining abortion clinics more closely.[37]
Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden (D-Delaware) promised a wide-ranging investigations into the abortions Gosnell performed in Delaware saying; “I’m disturbed by the allegations that were handed up by the grand jury in Philadelphia”.[38]
Vicki Saporta, speaking for the National Abortion Federation, an association of abortion providers, pointed out that Gosnell had been denied membership in the association because his facility did not meet appropriate standards of care, and commented, “Unfortunately, some women don’t know where to turn. You sometimes have substandard providers preying on low-income women who don’t know that they do have other (safe) options.”[39] Saporta also said, “What we saw didn’t meet our standards, but they’d cleaned the place up and hired an RN for our visit. We only saw first-trimester procedures.” [27]
Dayle Steinberg, of Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania, condemned Gosnell, saying, “We would condemn any physician who does not follow the law or endangers anyone’s health...All women should have access to high-quality care when they are vulnerable and facing difficult decisions.”[40]
Former Governor Tom Ridge (Republican) has refused to comment on the matter. It was his administration that ended regular inspections of abortion clinics—a policy that continued until the Gosnell incident. The grand jury report stated that according to officials inspections would be “putting a barrier up to women” seeking abortions. “Warnings—from patients and their attorneys, a doctor at a Philadelphia hospital, women’s health groups, pro-choice groups, and even an employee of the Philadelphia Department of Public Health—failed to prompt state and local authorities to investigate or take action against the clinic.

And this sick teenager didn’t tell anyone about it at the time!!! Gosnell is a sick, evil monster, but I’m starting to think his assistants were just as f*cked up!
He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College Carlisle PA and completed his Medical Degree at the Jefferson Medical School in 1966.

That’s a given for anyone working at an abortion clinic I’d think.
But remember, plenty of people on the right and here on FR recently said we should mellow our extremist views in exchange for votes so they should have no problem with any of this.
What person could work for this man? What kind of mother could allow her teenage daughter to work for this man? Oh yes anyone that worked there is messed up.
My daughter was taking a medical program where she was assigned clinicals at a Planned Parenthood Clinic. I was very upset, my daughter said it would be ok, they did not do abortions at that clinic so she would not be dealing with anything like that, just working with lab tests. Shortly after she started going she quit, delayed her graduation to get reassigned to different location for clinicals. She told me just the overall attitude toward abortion, the way those that worked there talked, the way they encouraged “clients” to seek abortion- she could not take it.
Seems to me a female reporter described this so called doctor as an “elegant” man and other admiring terms.
What he did is beyond my comprehension. He enjoyed murdering babies.
The thing is, people compartmentalize. They do not make the connection as a matter of course. In short, many people have forgotten how to think an issue/subject through to the logical conclusion.
Lots of people campaigned for Romney claiming all sorts of things. But he was a man who gave his personal money to fund abortion. Cases like this are the result of abortionists getting money.
So Logically, is it smart to empower such people? Abortionists cannot practice killing without laws to accept it and money to pay them. Simple math. Likewise, people cannot work at such places without being cut from the same cloth.
Romney may not have envisioned live babies being scisored and the clinic employees were just doing a job. History however, shows what happens when both actions are the norm. Repeatedly. Perhaps its time more people put a LOT more thought into this issue.
