FASCISM: Mark Levin says a powerful Republican Congressman trying to silence his show
The Right Scoop ^ | Brian

Posted on 04/13/2013 2:47:31 PM PDT by JohnPDuncan

Mark Levin opened his show tonight saying that a certain Republican Congressman who doesn’t like what he’s saying is trying to get the local affiliate in their district to stop running the Mark Levin Show. And apparently they are trying to do it behind the scenes. But Levin says EVERYTHING gets back to him and he will not tolerate fascism.

He gives this unnamed Republican Congressman a warning below noting that if they succeed in getting him silenced, he will expose them:

You have a United States Congressman trying to squelch the First Amendment? He/she took an OATH to defend the Constitution, and now he/she betrays that oath?

We want the name.

Levin’s web site is locked down now. Odd.

No matter who this mysterious Congressman turns out to be, he is doing his nation no service by trying to "silence" a person, especially a Constitutionally-literate person like Levin, who expresses views via today's media.

We might remember that TV and Radio spokesmen, Bloggers, and other media-transmitted political opinions of today are the same as those who did it by "newspapers" of the founding period.

With that in mind:

"Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter." - Thomas Jefferson

Was not the idea of maintaining a "free press" the Founders intended method of spreading information so that "the People" would be so informed that they can make their own decisions and, perhaps, oppose and prevent what their government might do to endanger their liberty?

“If once the people become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, Judges and Governors, shall all become wolves. It seems to be the law of our general nature, in spite of individual exceptions.” - Thomas Jefferson

That technology has made what used to be called the "newspaper" almost instantaneous in its delivery of information is, by its very nature, frustrating to an Presidents, Senators, or Congressmen who may be attempting to make behind-the-scenes deals, yielding away "the People's" liberty.

Reveal the name, if you can prove it, and let the politician know that we are not "inattentive to the public affairs" (Jefferson), and that we will not allow them to be "wolves" in "sheep's clothing."

Cantor or McCarthy.

I think it’s McCarthy. Levin called him a mouse turd last month. LOL. McCarthy must not like the folks back his district hearing about his beltway dirty pool.

Hi, JimRob. Sorry to bother you. I’ve read posts from you on FR before where you say you consider Mark Levine to be a friend of yours. I think this story is a pretty big deal, and it might be worth considering allowing it a wider audience than it will get back here in the bloggers/personal section.

RightScoop is a good source, plus there’s an actual audio clip attached of Mark talking about this on his show.

I think there are a lot of FReepers who would be interested in supporting Mark in this fight, and who would also like to know just who the heck this despicable Congressman is.

Just hoping you might consider putting this thread back in the news/current events section. Thanks.

Well, the bastards have already taken control of #1 and #2.

Now they are trying to get control of #3.

If they succeed, we are toast.

#3 is all we have left.

"McCain or Graham."

I was listening to Levin in the background last night, and while I don't specifically remember him saying "Representative," I got the impression he was talking about a member of the HoR, and not the Senate. He also made one little allusion to that person having the power of "committee assignments," and fund raising for other congress critters, which would suggest somebody holding a more formal leadership position than either Juan McLame or Grahamnesty.

Just the impression I got from what I caught of the show.

We are on the verge of losing our 2nd Amendment rights, soon afterwards the 1st.

Only Gubmint approved thinks are allowed, all others are a danger to society. Mental illness in the old gulag.

Is there any doubt?

I was thinking Cantor (who has been tacking left) but it could be Graham or McCain since Levin said Congress critter (which not only includes House members but also Senators).

This was Levin’s way of saying “Go ahead, make my day,”

Some on Mark’s show thread believe it to be Peter King.

After Revolution II, both the Democratic and Republican parties must be made illegal. Treat both as the Germans treat the Nazi party. They are one and the same.

"Neither are Congressmen"

Although in common usage, "Congressman" is used interchangeably with "Representative," the Senate is the upper house of Congress, so technically speaking, they are congressmen as well.

Yep, Mark is on KVTA in Ventura, California, right in the heart of McCarthy's 23rd District.

During the show, Mark left some other hints... for example, this congresscritter jilted conservatives from committee assignments.

To me, that means it is Boehner-directed. The go-between might be Cantor or McCarthy... but Boehner is the main thug.

Levin needs to name that House member... and now.

You lose credibility when you make such a claim...and not name who it is

That would be McCarthy...see my post #56 above. He was Boehner hit man for executing the purge.
