They’re not going to do that, not ever, ever, ever! They are doing exactly what they always intended to do, these things happening in government indoctrination centers all over this country are not happening accidentally!
If I somehow got the chance to speak to the entire nation but could only say one thing, it would be this-do NOT give your children to the government indoctrination centers!
Actually, it’s too late for that, because more than one generation has already been turned to the dark side en masse by government indoctrination centers and are lost for good-so I’d say instead-do NOT allow your weapons to be confiscated no matter what, under any circumstances!

Nope! This is a doofus job; the sort of stuff Abe Foxman loves to bitch about. It has no bearing whatsoever on anything important. For centuries before all this PC crap kids debated all sorts of contrarian stuff. Our willingness to go hog-wild and take offense is just a symptom of the degree to which we have been pansified, emasculated, and weenied-down by the sensitive new age liberal elite. Screw ‘em. I’ve read Mein Kampf. Doesn’t scare me a bit. That means I can present an effective counterargument instead of being a whining bitch controlled by media and government.

Ummmm...as a Jew who teaches English at a local high school... your concept of reasonable and mine are miles apart.
A teacher looking at the ideology of the National Socialists might want to ask students something like this: “Describe the ideological beliefs of the National Socialists, focusing on their attitudes towards Jews and how those attitudes changed over time.” The teacher should be able to determine whether or not the student understands the subject.
If the teacher wanted, a follow-up question might be: “Evaluate the moral and ethical consequences of the attitudes towards the Jews among the National Socialist.” Of course, this presupposes that the students have been taught something about moral and ethical understanding. It happens in my room, and among some of my colleagues, too. Maybe it’s an Alaskan thing.
I’m really sure as someone who sits in a room filled with teenagers for several hours each week that asking one of them to role-play the evilness of a Jew would frighten, scare, or shock some of them, especially if we had already seen photos of the concentration camps. More to the point, the prompt “argue Jews are evil” is simpleminded and vague.
This teacher is the poster child for the elimination of tenure and privatization. Sadly, I’ve worked with a few like this. God help us.

I agree. It is important that children are taught to consider things from all points of view. I once had an uncomfortable moment in the 1980’s in a university political science class. We were discussing WWII. The professor was very marxist. I posed the sincere question: what would our world be like today if Hitler had won? It’s obvious from history that Hitler winning was a distinct possibility. I thought it would be useful to explore the idea. I was immediately shut down.....apparently because the other students believed that because I posed that question I was sympathetic to the idea. I was not. I think we do ourselves a great disservice when we refuse to consider that what WE want may not happen, and that considering a fallback position is just common sense.
I don’t know how THAT lesson was framed, but I’m with you - I could make a very worthwhile lesson out of that assignment. Followed by an assignment to identify and discuss analogous arguments going on in the world today.
I don’t know, buddy. We had all sorts of fun with this sort of thing. It does sound like a crappy way to pose something like - “Jews are bad for society” or “Jews are Evil” - but it sounds like a seriously heavy and fun debate topic, up there with
