Am I alone in thinking that Gun Control in the Senate and House is our version of the Reichstag Fire?

“TED CRUZ is just one that I support. He is the measure by which I measure others.”

Amen to that. Seeing Ted in action in such a short time and his rise to the top of the libs’ hit list makes me angry we had all those wasted years in Texas with Kay Bailey’s worthless taking up a Senate seat

Getting votes for Speakership is more to do with “what will this Speaker do for me personally”, moreso than “will this Speaker lead in the right direction”.

I am happy my Rep Louie Gohmert stood against Boehner, even if he stood alone.

I believe you are exactly on point. The Reps are trying to get the Dems on record as voting for more gun control. However, their success rate gives me great concern. The Dems are WWWAAAAYYY better at long ball.

Though it obviously can’t legally happen, it would be grand to create a public petition that if John Boehner supports any gun control legislation so that it passes the House, that he be stripped of his US citizenship and deported, never again to be allowed entry to the US.

The purpose of the petition to demonstrate how seriously the people regard efforts to strip us of our civil rights. If he takes away our civil rights, he deserves none himself.

It is painful to live in a country where no one gives a rat’s rear about any idea dear to me. Thinking people are now held like slaves to the unthinking and uncaring mob that makes up the majority of the US population. It, in turn, does the bidding of its media masters, who in turn do what the Democrat Parties orders.

And the GOP? The ones in Washington DC care far more about their ‘friends’ in DC than anyone in their home state. They prefer to be servants in the homes of their Democrat masters than live free anywhere else.

Boehner is a slave who loves his DC Masters. There is no hope for him, and little for the GOP.

Well said.

For many like Boehner, its become like expecting King George to do the right thing on our behalf, VOLUNTARILY.

I do think if in 2014 the Conservatives gain more seats, Bonehead and his fiends will be turned out. Unless soros, buffett and that gang can figure out how to defy history, 2nd term Mid Terms most often go against the POTUS Party.

It would be sweet if a veto proof “conservative” GOP Congress was elected in 2014.

I agree 100% and said as much after Obama was elected. Conservatives need to change their party affiliated and then causcus back with Republicans in order to have any chance of changing the direction in DC.

Do you think Ohio will really toss him out? Some States might, but not OHIO, being on the rustbelt edge, too many like Boehner’s goodies.

Agreed on KBH. Talk about a waste of skin!

At least now with Cruz, we have a benchmark to work with. We got a KEEPER, this time!

:-)

Something very insidious is going on in DC right now, folks. People who swore and oath to uphold and defend our Constitution are blatantly and outright abrogating their responsibilities to do so.

Agree. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Something evil has enticed our *representatives* - even some who were once rock solid conservatives. They've become drunk with (our) money and power.

FWIW, I believe that both parties were in on Obama stealing the last election. And I believe it is because they pretty much knew that if Obama lost our cities would burn, possibly followed by anarchical civil war. They whole country was like an open gas can and we were playing with matches.

Agree about both parties being in on 0 stealing the election. Disagree with if 0 lost our cities would burn down. That was a scare tactic. I think the workers and producers being oppressed by this regime far outnumber the takers. The takers would've realized that very fast, once they started any crapola.

Question is...how do we clone Cruz to primary Corny?

I am NOT talking about Ohio. I’m talking about the Tea Party caucus revolting against his speakership. Sheesh.

Remember folks, the war of Independence was fought by the 30 percent that wanted freedom. The other 2/3 either didn’t care or was against it.

It’s no different today. Your federal officials are scared the citizens are gonna rise up and limit their power. Rinos and Demonrats are going to do everything at their disposal to quell that. It’s not about Conservative or liberal. It’s all about control. Total control.

Once they attempt to take away the means they will then move to conviscate individual savings...for the good of the state. Then everyone is fependent on them.

He has that vaguely dopey look so often seen in a chronic drunk. I think he's a committed tippler who's pissed away a few billion too many brain cells.

Effing A-hole.

The House crier is hellbent on ticking off the Conservatives in his caucus, one way or the other.

Recent Flashback:

Boehner full of regret over 'cliff' moves

"“You have no idea the suspicions and the undercurrents that it caused, frankly, a lot of my members,” Boehner said of his negotiations with Obama. “It really has, in fact, caused somewhat of a breach that I’ve been in the middle of trying to repair.”"

” House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said that he didn’t need the approval of a majority of his own party “

I think that was after a 3 martooni lunch. He seems to have come more to his senses as of yesterday.

No, the salvation of America is for us to somehow pay back in full our Karma Police debt for slavery, instead of being continually blackmailed without end (as we now are).

Am no liker of the lack of culture many in the AA community practice, but as an American culture, we could not deny other people’s freedom without some future greater cost.

Doesn’t work. did that for years and they kept calling. So, I simply don’t pick up any identified calls from them. I also delete the emails.
