Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.

Everybody knows that there’s a numerical number assigned to the Bill of Rights, and when you reach 66....you run out of rights.....so you have to prioritize.
If a kid just makes this stupid comment in the class...the teacher is forced into saying that there’s no numerical value, and therefore you can’t prioritize on your rights.
A smart kid could tear up the class agenda in today’s atmosphere.

The whacked out hippies from the sixties wanted to destroy the establishment. They couldn’t do it by protesting so they got into gov. and education. They’ll do it tht way.

The teacher can believe whatever she wants - but her job is NOT to indoctrinate students - it's to teach...
When kids in Jacksonville can read or do math - or maybe both - then we can talk about ‘teachers’ becoming propaganda pushers for Democrats. Until then, this woman should be reprimanded.

From the article:
Duval County Public Schools: "... Our possible concern rests with a follow-up activity that may have been conducted after the lesson..."
Possible concern? In other words there may be conditions under which this incident will just be dismissed?

I'll gladly give up the sixteenth amendment to gain security.
Now would that teacher give up her thirteenth amendment rights? She'll belong to the school, but she'll get three meals and a place to sleep.

Well at least the father didn’t find a banner with the word JESUS written on it, and a big ole footprint on top of that.
Time to call Gov. Scott again about education in Florida. Honestly, he’s up for re-election, call him and tell his aide’s he needs to get a handle on Florida Education.

Have these students even been taught their constitutional rights?
