Sebelius Tries To Blame GOP For Coming ObamaCare Failures

As Democrats grow increasingly worried that ObamaCare will explode on the launch pad just as midterm elections get going, the Obama administration seeks to pin blame on Republicans. Good luck with that.

Earlier this week, Health and Human Services head Kathleen Sebelius admitted that she didn't realize how complicated getting ObamaCare off the ground would be.

Sebelius complained that "no one fully anticipated" the difficulties involved in implementing ObamaCare, or how confusing it would be with the public.

She wasn't talking about the massive and impossible task of imposing central planning on one-sixth of the nation's economy.

Instead, she was trying to find a way to blame Republicans for ObamaCare's failures when the inevitable problems start emerging.

Rather than say "let's get on board, let's make this work," recalcitrant Republicans have forced her to engage in "state-by-state political battles," Sebelius said at a Harvard School of Public Health forum. "The politics has been relentless."

So let's see if we get this. Democrats shoved an unpopular, expensive, ill-conceived and poorly written law down the country's throat with no Republican support, and without bothering to see whether states would want to take on the thankless and costly task of helping the feds implement it.

“If those mean ole’ Republicans would just ignore reality and join us in pretending that everything is just perfect, nobody would ever notice that we’re having these tiny little problems. But, instead, they keep spoiling our dream by bringing out that whole truth thing.”

This is exactly what we said they would do - blame the GOP for the failures of their own policies (which can do nothing but fail).

Yes, play Obama’s claims of how rates will come down and be like “getting a pay raise”, etc. and Pelosi’s comment “we have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it” - and also John Conyers’ comment that it is ridiculous to read the bill before voting it into law: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BH43LVm_m0 with the narration “The Democrats lied to us about what this bill would do...and passed into thousands of pages of laws and regulations we will be forced to obey they couldn’t even be bothered to read.” That should have been a key part of the campaign last time around.

Her only interest as the head of gubbermint “health care” is killing babies.

Disagree. I think killing old white guys is right up there too.

And then they will cram socialised health care down our throats, it was the perfect set-up. Why not, they’re doing with the 2A exactly what they kept saying they wouldn’t do. They don’t care about lying, they just want results, socialist results, results that give them all the power when the game is up.

The Republicans aren’t in it to win it anymore, I believe that they’ve resigned themselves to a power-sharing deal with the demonrats. As long as they keep the pay and perks, let the demonrats run the country. They’ll even do some sucking-up to Hussein if necessary.

Plus it will teach us uppity conservatives a lesson.

You really think that low-information voters will get that message? Truth, Reality, Logic, and History mean nothing to the Left.

Tinkerbelle is dying and sebelius blames the Republicans for not clapping to show their support and belief.

I’ve seen, heard and met a lot of leftist and wacked out political women over the past 40+ years, but I see pure evil in Sebelius and I don’t know why.

She is so rigid that she makes a steel pole seem bent. What the hell happened out in Kansas to make her such a nasty, mean-spirited woman? Too much sun in the cornfields? To much time in the salt caves of Lee Summitt? Or just wanting power and willing to sell her soul to Obama to get it?

EVIL: Exceptionally Vindicative In Life = Sebelius

Never underestimate the idiocy of the vermin living in this country.

If the Democrats blame the GOP for Obamacare then 50% of the country will accept the statement automatically. They are basically too dumb to qualify as mammals.

“Sebelius complained that “no one fully anticipated” the difficulties involved in implementing ObamaCare, or how confusing it would be with the public.”

What she’s referring to is the fact that to vote the bill into law, the Dems had to gather in secret at 3 in the morning.

Actually, it’s working just as they designed it to do.

Collapse the insurance industry, and there will be a clamor for single payer, universal health care.

All is going according to plan.

Even if the bill were readable, should she bother to read it? Obamacare doesn’t apply to her.

Actually Sh*thead Sebelius, a lot of people foresaw this and warned against and fought against the bill's passage, but a Democratic president and Congress rammed it through anyway. Why? POWER!

And if the GOP were smart, it'd be focused on making sure that, come next November, the public knows that, too.

It's not.

Exhibit 1: Look who they just ran against Obama...
