What's to stop them from building munitions plants and flooding the US with cheap unmarked, untaxed ammo?

They have more than enough cash to build a high tech uber modern plant right on the border.

I think that sometimes we forget one of the basic rules of economics: if there's demand for a product, someone will satisfy it -- legally or illegally.

How many more lessons do our political geniuses need? Prohibition, the war on drugs, cigarette bans all resulted in criminal black markets and hugely inflated prices. Those who want the product will do anything necessary to get the money to buy what they want.

The enormous downside for guns and ammo supplies is that citizens pursuing a Constitutional right would be turned into a felons!
