I see a real opportunity for the Cartkes to make hug profits.

What's to stop them from building munitions plants and flooding the US with cheap unmarked, untaxed ammo?

They have more than enough cash to build a high tech uber modern plant right on the border.

Now that would create a drive by the Pedophile party to secure the border!

Not drugs-

Not female trafficking- but ammo baby- they’d go nuts!

If they have to smuggle it in, it won’t be cheap.

Perhaps something we can pass it on to them. If our government can do it, why shouldn’t we?

They are now making all law abiding citizens criminals, so what the hey!

Prohibition comes to mind. I can see a black market on all things 2nd Amendment related.

We ALL know how well prohibition worked out.

Have you seen any cheap ammo lately?

It’s not cheap now, that is, if you can find it.

Ammo and guns already being smuggled-hands-off from Canada- to-USA via Ottawa, the Mohawk Sovereign Nation [extends both sides of the border] into New York State unscathed.

But they lack the funds to create ammo factory and smuggle large scale.

The Cartles are set up and flush with cash.

Ammo isn’t worth that much by weight, even at the inflated prices it currently goes for, compared to drugs. I don’t see this happening.

Why stop at ammo? Why not RPGs, C-4, MANPADS, and mortars? China would be happy to supply them.

I think that sometimes we forget one of the basic rules of economics: if there's demand for a product, someone will satisfy it -- legally or illegally.

How many more lessons do our political geniuses need? Prohibition, the war on drugs, cigarette bans all resulted in criminal black markets and hugely inflated prices. Those who want the product will do anything necessary to get the money to buy what they want.

The enormous downside for guns and ammo supplies is that citizens pursuing a Constitutional right would be turned into a felons!

Because purchasing it in the US, or bringing it across the border, would be illegal.

If its cheap, they have no reason to smuggle it across.

When 9mm rounds are $1 each due to government action, then they will start smuggling them in.

Now that would create a drive by the Pedophile party to secure the border!

Which is why the cartels would never consider it. Put out millions to build the infrastructure and smuggle the goods just to have Congress come down hard and close the border? No way.

Even if a campaign can be started just SAYING that guns are coming over the border will make people get started on securing the borders.

It doesn't even have to be true that the guns are coming through the porous border - a believable perception is just as good as the truth.

What will it take to get the ^&%$# borders built?

OOooh! Now there’s something. Forget drug running. Ammo running right now would be a huge opportunity!

“We ALL know how well prohibition worked out.”

Prohibition can be a ‘good’ thing...got Papa Joe appointed Ambassador to the Court of St James after he made millions keeping the speak-easy’s in Scotch.

I beg your pardon, Sir:

Since 2003, the Akwesasne Mohawk Gaming
enterprises have generated over $79.1 million
to the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe.
