...What my wife and I have been doing w/in the last 2 weeks are making Tuesday and Thursday TV/Computer Off nights and making those two nights "Reading Nights". So far I have been able to get through FreeP "C. Edmund Wrights'" Book and have started (last night) "Stalin's Secret Agents: The Subversion of Roosevelt's Government". Just something to maybe try.
Does good things for the Blood Pressure too.
That’s a great idea.
awesome idea. We have had 2 nights a week of no tv/tablets for our house for about 4 months now. we all love it.
I told my daughter she is not allolwed to participate in school-sponsored communist agenda itens unless she fully understands all the implications
And I make her listen to where I see it leading.
for example- ALL my kids have been coming home this week with ‘gay marriage’ horse$hit fromt he schools. I showed them how it is all over the news, it is all the democrats current talkign points, and it shows all the signs of being a deliberate effort propaganda campaign orchestrated by the democrats in the media.
I asked her “Why does the Federal Government want to get involved, when you get your Marriage License from your STATE? Answer: Centralizing Federal power, and forcing churches to perform marriages that go against christian beliefs, which is NOT spelled out anywhere in The Constitution- in fact, The Constitution is supposed to PREVENT that from happening”
I encourage you and others who are cutting down on TV viewing. When I realized that cutting down was not working for our household, we cut the cable TV/satellite service 1 1/2 years ago and have not looked back. We decided that our addiction to TV, especially cable news channels, was not doing us good.
Just hearing on FR about the descriptions of TV news malarky is more than I want. Being a low-information citizen isn’t so bad considering most of the information I got was bogus, filtered, propagandized.
We are happier now. La.
Here’s an ‘idea.’ Post this in Chat.
Great idea but I would have to pick different nights as some of my fav shows come on then.
Yes! Sir! SAR! GENT!
(Thanks for keepin’ FR a CLEAN and ORDERLY FR.)
This is No TV Week, btw.
