Harry Reid is threatening to kill the filibuster if the GOP doesn't cease using it to block the appointment of judges. If he breaks the filibuster (lesson guys, don’t tell anybody you’re going to filibuster), then have the whole bill and every amendment read out loud to ruin his schedule.

I think they're far more interested in ginning up a campaign issue to re-take the House than they are in passing this bill. Once the House is theirs all bets are off.

I was kind of pessimistic when the regime announced conversion of OFA to work on the mid-terms.
But now I’m thinking the pro-2A fervor combined with the implosion of Obamacare will be huge factors in our favor.

Yah, like cry baby Boner/Boehner is going to stop it. He's already stated that he will work with whatever bill the Senate sends to him. He's a coward & closet demoRAT! There would likely be 30 or so Repub House reps who would flip over as well, and voila, gun grabber bill is passed. Perhaps that is when the "shall not be infringed" part of the 2nd amendment will become a hard reality & choice to make.
The good news is that I still believe there are at least 12-14 southern & western states who will not bend or bow before the socialist feds, and who knows what will happen at that time.
