Serbia has the 5th highest gun ownership rate in the world I think. After this, I doubt you’ll have people blaming guns and trying to confiscate them the way we have here.

“Applicants for a gun owner’s license in Serbia are required to prove genuine reason to possess a firearm,”

I wonder if ROP head-choppers who want to harvest their organs is a good enough reason?

Impossible.

Serbia has already implemented all the Democrat’s gun policies.

A new addition to the lexicon - gun rampage.

I’m going to use that when speaking of the abortion rampage. Props to the Beeb.

I visited what was billed as a “gun shop” in Belgrade in the early nineties. Things were so bad, they only sold (big) spiked dog collars, dog food in 50 lbs. sacks, and custom made leather holsters. While there, customers approached the counter, drew pistols from waistbands, and slapped them down so the clerk could outline the pattern for making a holster. Seemed like their customer based consisted exclusively of private guard companies.

Funny you mention that. Handguns were the original target for GunGrabbers™,
using the typical "x are not suitable for sporting purposes, there is no legitimate reason for civilians to own this, but don't worry we would never try to ban your y ...",

where x=handguns and y=long guns.

***And all this carnage, with a 9mm hand gun.***

Several years back there was a push for gun controls like those in Japan.

I mentioned that the Mayor of Nagasaki had just been murdered -with a handgun.

I have an old article from around 1966 titled GUNS OF DESPARATION. It basically was a rundown of the history of zip guns. The last word was “If men need a gun, they will get it.”

My thoughts are that the genie got out of the bottle 600 years ago, and will not go back in no matter how many laws you pass.

“Veljovic, the police chief, said the government is working on a new gun control law. “The law calls for regular medical checkups for those possessing weapons,” he said.”

Interesting how they would coincidentally have a new law ready to be implemented.
