President Obama released his official “I, I, I, me, me, me” statement on the death of former U.K. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher Monday afternoon.
The statement, from a President who’s leadership is the antithesis of Thatcher’s, was released on the White House website:
With the passing of Baroness Margaret Thatcher, the world has lost one of the great champions of freedom and liberty, and America has lost a true friend. As a grocer’s daughter who rose to become Britain’s first female prime minister, she stands as an example to our daughters that there is no glass ceiling that can’t be shattered. As prime minister, she helped restore the confidence and pride that has always been the hallmark of Britain at its best. And as an unapologetic supporter of our transatlantic alliance, she knew that with strength and resolve we could win the Cold War and extend freedom’s promise.
Here in America, many of us will never forget her standing shoulder to shoulder with President Reagan, reminding the world that we are not simply carried along by the currents of history—we can shape them with moral conviction, unyielding courage and iron will. Michelle and I send our thoughts to the Thatcher family and all the British people as we carry on the work to which she dedicated her life—free peoples standing together, determined to write our own destiny. [Emphasis added].

We’re deeply saddened at the loss of Margaret Thatcher. While the Iron Lady is sadly gone, her iron will, her unfailing trust in what is right and just, and her lessons to all of us will live on forever. She was a trailblazer like no other. We lost an icon, but her legacy, as solid as iron, will live on in perpetuity.
She’d have to be dead for roughly two k-years before her IQ would sink to the level of the t*rd-in-chief.

Was sitting at a dinner table in the middle of England. There were 2 Americans, 1 Australian and the rest were brain dead leftist Brits. A whole lot of em. Well they started talking about America and spent 10 minutes bashing Reagan and how America was so horrible for electing him. Finally I had enough and simply stated, well we can all talk about Margaret Thatcher if you like. That shut em up real fast. So then I proceeded to enjoy my meal.
Speaking of meals, here is what brain dead leftists policies have gotten England. And if Obama has his way, it will soon happen here.
The White House was silent for a full two hours after Thatcher’s death was announced, yet when Roger Ebert passed, Obama issued a statement within 30 minutes.

These two disgusting bugs can’t have their strokes soon enough. On that day, if I am still on this planet, I will sit on a log at a beach and listen to the crashing of the surf and the beautiful songs of seabirds, while I eat a fresh piece of homemade apple pie.
There will be no more “I, me, my, uh, me , uh uh uh. me, me , I, mine, not you, me, I, uh uh, my, mine, ours, my, me me me me me”. If for only a moment, it will feel as if our country had taken a refreshing shower.
This article should come with a "gag alert"...the ignorance, arrogance and narcissism of our current President are truly mind-boggling.
I would say President Obama is "tin" to Thatcher's "iron", but that would be to insult the dear Wizard of Oz "Tin Man"...maybe "fool's gold" would be more like it?!
