NASA rules out manned Moon mission in the foreseeable future

NASA administrator Charles Bolden has dismissed the idea that the space agency will attempt another manned Moon mission. Speaking with contemporaries, Bolden said "NASA will not take the lead on a human lunar mission... probably in my lifetime." Bolden added that if the next administration reverses NASA's decision it would set back the manned space program in its entirety. He warned that, should we divert resources towards a manned moon mission in the future, we would probably never "see Americans on the Moon, on Mars, near an asteroid, or anywhere" in our lifetimes, explaining that "we cannot continue to change the course of human exploration."

If we didn’t have to spend so much money on Detroit, Birmingham and the rest of “Holders people” we would have already gone to Mars.

He who commands space commands the future. What if Red China makes a manned moon mission, like they intend to do?

Of course they do! NASA is now in the rear of other countries in space exploration, I guess it would interfere with their new mission of making muslims feel good. After all they have to put their money were it best fit their mission statement!

Very soon, there will be no more people alive that have been on another planet.

NASA is too busy with Muslim outreach and climate scaremongering to do any actual exploration.

I imagine trying to teach the muzzies to like themselves is a lot tougher job than than Barry thought it was going to be. Barry should have given that job to the SEALs. They know how to turn mean Islamoterrorists into good Islamoterrorists.

"Bolden added that if the next administration reverses NASA's decision it would set back the manned space program in its entirety."

Only a graduate of the Karl Marx University with a major in Doublespeak could say something that convoluted and illogical.

The beatings and the Muslim outreach will continue until morale improves.

Can’t fund NASA manned space exploration. Too many hungry mouths to feed on Earth. As long as we maintain this attitude, we’ll be stuck on this rock when the comet comes.

Huge strategic mistake. I’d expect nothing less from this administration.

I guess it would interfere with their new mission of making muslims feel good.

muslims feel bad when a kafir steps on their god.

A sad day for the USA to leave space travel. Heck even the Russians are still in space and they are in deeper Doo Doo that we are. They are making space pay! They won, not by skill but persistence.

I see that you had the same trouble making any kind of logical connection between the premise and conclusion in just about every sentence spoken by Bolden.

Tombstone on boot hill:
Here lies Les More,
Four slugs from a .44
No Les, no more!
Les died because somebody bigger and faster drew down on him
So someday someone may write:
Here lies NASA manned moon history.
China got to the moon and now its no mystery,
The US space program is now history and like Les
The USA is no More...
