The case of a same-sex Connecticut couple accused of repeatedly raping and abusing two of their nine adopted boys is headed for trial.
Married couple George Harasz and Douglas Wirth of Glastonbury were supposed to be sentenced Friday in Hartford Superior Court under a plea deal, but instead withdrew from their agreement with prosecutors. The men had already pleaded no contest in January to one felony count each of risk of injury to a minor — a reduction from even more serious charges related to sexual assault.
But in a surprise turn, the couple’s attorneys pulled them out of the plea in a bid to fully clear their names, according to CBS affiliate WFSB-TV.
If Harasz, 49, and Wirth, 45, had continued with the deal, they would have been given suspended prison sentences and probation, WFSB-TV said.
But more allegations came to light Friday in the explosive case, and prosecutors said they also want to go to trial.

Harasz and Wirth adopted nine children — three sets of male siblings — beginning in 2000, and ran a home-based dog breeding business called The Puppy Guy.
The couple was arrested in November 2011 following a police and state investigation of sex-abuse allegations. The children were removed from the home.

One of the victims who spoke during the court hearing said sexual assault began when he was 6.
“They took turns raping me over and over,” he said. “Anyone who would do this to a child is a sick, demented person.”

This is Connecticut. They really aren’t too worried about children there unless it will help them get the Second Amendment repealed. Children are just tools to be used on their march towards communism for those who live there.

Always has been. It is an immature, fixation in Latency. It is idolatry and narcissism. It is caused by emotional and/or physical abuse of young children.
It is a warped way to “look” at human beings-—as sex objects-—when it is totally unnatural...and only with warping of childhood can a person “look” at the same sex and call it “love” to want to invade their body cavities with objects or in unnatural ways. It is vile and dehumanizing—a vice and evil.
Yes, the “homosexuals” were warped by some sick ignorant adults (or abused by someone-—parents “trust” strangers and daycares. But it is LEARNED behavior-—just like raping little babies. You are NOT born with abnormal “orientations”. The human being is WARPED and the thinking is habituated by ignorant adults and peers around that child.
Look at the Ancient Greeks and Romans. It is sexist always and reduces human beings to lust objects and things for recreation—removes morality from the sex act so it will always include the children.
Gee, I guess we were wrong about the sodomites marrying and molesting their adoptive children.
My great grandmother told me about a drifter who was caught “harming” children in the early 1900s. She said the local mensfolk took the perp on a midnight tour of the steel mill and he never harmed anyone again.
Unfortunately they would probably enjoy the rape and ask for more.
They are not a same sex couple! they are a same sex pair. There is a difference.

We are supposed to support gay marriage so there will be more “loving” parents available to adopt all these children trapped in the foster care system.
This pair was certainly doing their share of taking children into a “loving” relationship.
Gay marriages are no improvement in the task of placing children now in foster homes. Net benefit is less than zero.
And anyone in a position of authority that would sanction that "adoption" is even sicker and more demented.
Here I am applauding Putin for his recent actions about not allowing adoption to the US anymore.

No trial. Prosecutors must have felt they had a weak case. Thats probably why they changed their minds.
