I will never understand liberal and especially feminist opposition to guns.
An unarmed man can subdue an unarmed woman at least 90% of the time. Arm them both and her chances of effective resistance go up to 50%, possibly slightly better since she is usually a smaller target. :)
In the absence of firearms, violence doesn’t go away, it merely gives the advantage always to the young, large, male and strong.
