Dr. Ben Carson on Friday apologized to Johns Hopkins University for “poorly chosen” comments he made last week in which he seemed to compare gay relationships to pedophilia and bestiality.
The pediatric neurosurgeon’s message to the Hopkins community came after a top university official issued a statement calling Carson’s words “offensive” and saying he would meet with students who want Carson removed as commencement speaker.

Dr. Ben Carson will continue to be on my list of folks I am interested in.
Our true enemies would like us to immediately dump him.... I will not. However, I too am sick of our side apologizing for ANYTHING, but I believe Carson continues to deserve our attention and further evaluation.

Yes, I am frustrated as I stated due mainly to the fact that it seems like each and everytime a conservative gains a little ground on the left the ObamaMedia crushes them like a bug. For example a day or two after I sent money to the Cain campaign here comes the media with their load of BS regarding all of the women in his past which destroyed a good man and his chances at POTUS. And where are those women, the media and Gloria “It’s All About Me” Alred after the fact. Gone like poot in the wind!
I won’t even mention election reform. It just ain’t gonna happen with this bunch in power.

Santorum is a big government social conservative, if you ask me, rather like Romney except with different morality. Romney thinks that morally, government is right to forbid letting states outlaw abortion as they please — Romney thinks Roe v Wade is right. Santorum is a big government social conservative in that he’d take government money away from any abortion programs ... but instead of advocating that the money go back to individual taxpayers to use morally as they see fit, he would instead feed it toward government programs encouraging adoption. Well sure, that’s anti-abortion, but how is it limited government conservative? Hello? That mindset is big government social conservative. Another limited government principle of morality sails right over his head. Santorum is a Republican — he stands against limited government on moral principle.
Y'all can have him.

So he apologizes. Did he say he no longer felt that way? He was right, and knows it. If he does run for president, you know the statement would be used as ammo in 2016. Better to apologize now, then have to explain his comments made three years from now.

If Dr. Carson has any future political aspirations, he should consult one George Allen, who apologized repeatedly and profusely after the “macaca” gaffe. One should always ..... ALWAYS understand the left is not grounded in a Christian spirit of forgiveness. The will instead feast on your entrails as you blunber out apologies and grovel for mercy. Apologizing is seen by the left as not humanity but weakness. NEVER apologize to them.

Actually, there were casualties in the Bonus Army affair. I believe there were 3 deaths, but I don’t recall the particulars.
All are abhorrent to Christians (and most other people ‘cept dems” to some degree.
