A North Korean Nuclear Pearl Harbor?
Family Security Matters ^ | April 5, 2013 | Dr Peter Vincent Pry

Posted on 04/05/2013 8:52:26 PM PDT by Dave346

At this dangerous juncture, it may be useful to remember Pearl Harbor and some other lessons from history.

After all, there is some compelling evidence that North Korea just might be able to deliver on its threat to make a catastrophic nuclear attack on the United States: North Korea has conducted three successful nuclear tests, and has weaponized its nuclear devices into warheads that are deployed on its Nodong medium-range missiles. In December, North Korea successfully orbited a satellite weighing 220 pounds--so they could deliver against the United States, or against any nation on Earth, a small nuclear warhead. A nuclear weapon designed specially to generate a powerful electromagnetic pulse (EMP)--a single such "Super-EMP" warhead would be able to collapse the U.S. electric grid and other critical infrastructures, inflicting catastrophic consequences on the entire nation--would probably be deliverable by North Korea's so-called "Space Launch Vehicle" over the United States. North Korea orbited its satellite on a trajectory and at an altitude ideal for making an EMP attack on the U.S.. The Congressional EMP Commission warned in 2008 that North Korea was developing Super-EMP warheads. South Korean military intelligence has reportedly warned their government repeatedly that North Korea is developing Super-EMP warheads with Russian help. In 2011, a military commentator with the People's Republic of China stated that North Korea has Super-EMP warheads. Data from North Korea's nuclear tests are consistent with a Super-EMP warhead.

Moreover, North Korea claims it can destroy the U.S. with a missile strike. Recent TV footage of North Korea's military headquarters showed a map in the background allegedly depicting their plans for nuclear missile strikes against the United States. South Korean military intelligence reportedly observed that North Korea's so-called Space Launch Vehicle is included among the general mobilization of the North's nuclear missile forces.

Obama will detonate one of our own nukes as a false flag before Korea can get one over here.

Yes. North Korea are already upping the ante with their new photoshop navy!

Seriously though, if they did have an EMP aboard that space craft, wouldn’t they have to launch it down to earth at the US, to detonate closer to the ground. Couldn’t we just shoot it down with a missile before it activates?

The numbnuts in DC have been warned for years about the disastrous possibilities of EMP stike(s). What do they do? Go on a binge of massive centralization of our electrical distribution grid.

Please stop.

They don’t have a bomb and the two they tested....well....they bombed, or fizzled. Whatever.

Only way they get a cloud out any of their bombs is if they fill em with foot powder.

Besides, they using aniquated equipment, that isn’t serviceable much less reliable enough to withstand a brisk walk of more than a mile.We should air lift Happy Meals, Coca Cola and Mom’s Apple Pie.Once they taste America we could then drop millions of pairs of Levi’s on em and a pair of Justin Roper boots.

They’ll want more of that and it would end this tin pot concentration Kamp.

We have classified ways to deal with things like that. But this satellite is uselessly tumbling and not of a mass or volume to carry a nuclear device.

On ________, 2013, in a day that will live in wazzup, the North Koreans launched a sneaky attack on Oakland, Ca. Grateful Californians sent messages of good will and good health to Lil’ Kim, and invited to visit Disneyland.

BS Obama will do nothing of the sort. He will try to talk the Korean bastard into submission. He doesn’t have the gonads to actually do anything but threat and play golf.

I am wondering if all this saber rattling by the NORKs is nothing more than a diversion to keep our eyes off Iran. Could be this is conjured up by the two of them?.

Russian Bomber Roulette

Russian strategic bomber conducts practice strikes on U.S. missile defenses in Asia

A Russian bomber recently carried out simulated cruise missile attacks on U.S. missile defenses in Asia, raising new questions about Moscow’s goal in future U.S.-Russian defense talks.

According to U.S. officials, a Russian Tu-22M Backfire bomber on Feb. 26 simulated firing air-launched cruise missiles at an Aegis ship deployed near Japan as part of U.S. missile defenses.

A second mock attack was conducted Feb. 27 against a ground-based missile defense site in Japan that officials did not identify further.

The Pentagon operates an X-band missile defense radar on the northern tip of Japan that is designed to monitor North Korean missile launches and transmit the data to missile-firing ships.

The bomber targeting comes as Russia is building up forces in the Pacific by modernizing submarines and building a spy ship specifically for intelligence-gathering against U.S. missile defenses.

Officials said it was not clear why the Russians conducted the practice strikes. However, the simulations may indicate Moscow has targeted its offensive ballistic missiles on Japan or U.S. military bases in the region.

What a coincidence. We elect and re-elect an anti-American communist as president who has zero experience and credentials in national security, who is drawing down our nuclear weapon stockpile, who is demolishing our military might with gays, women in combat, and cuts to defense spending...and just how do the world’s tinpot dictators react? Do they sense weakness and lack of will?

...massive centralization of our electrical distribution grid.

Some folks are unaware of the fact that there are (only) three separate electrical grids in the US. There's the Eastern grid, the Western grid, and the Texas grid.

Texas declines the offer to be 'consolidated', thank you very much.
