MOSCOW – North Korea has advised foreign diplomats to consider evacuating their embassies there, in light of increasing tensions in the area, Russian and British diplomats said Friday. Russia’s foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, told reporters traveling with him in Uzbekistan Friday afternoon that Moscow was seeking more details about the North Korean statement before making a decision about whether to evacuate. Lavrov said Russia was treating the statement from Pyongyang as a suggestion and not an order.

There are foreign embassies in Pyongyang? UGH!

That’s one heck of a torturous diplomatic post...

This is what I don't understand:

South Korean protesters hold signs during a press conference denouncing the UN's new sanction against North Korea, and the annual joint military exercises near the U.S. Embassy in Seoul.

Do they still want us to leave???

I wonder if Obambi has been notified of this situation . . . I can just see the messenger trying to find the idiot out of some golf course or somewhere on his knees on a prayer rug.

the embassies will be OK - just don’t visit the missile sites or military installations.

Did all this start to blow up after Dennis Rodman’s visit ? Did he bring a message from Obama ?

Maybe it was something Dennis said.

In all seriousness, the one thing I haven’t seen is announcement of the mobilization of the North’s reserves (est. 8,000,000).

That’s the classic sign a nation has decided to go to war. They’re “in it to win it” at that point.

That’s the bona fide alarm bell - should that go off, then there’s serious trouble ahead.

“This is what I don’t understand:”

Funny how their letters read out-No! War. I don’t think it means what they think it does.

Message to North Korea and Kim Jong Un:

You are all cowards!

You threaten.

You show missles.

You do nothing!

The WHOLE world is laughing at you.

You are losing FACE!

Perhaps. We know Obummer can’t shoot hoop, he can’t play golf either. Can he play poker? I doubt it. This may be the biggest bluff of all time and we have an inept child at the helm.

“Maybe it was something Dennis said.”

Word on the street is that Kim Jong-Un was offended because Rodman was so TALL!

(FULL DISCLOSURE: I am allow to make this height-ist statement because I, too, am “vertically challenged”)...

Psy war. Bluff. Brinksmanship. Playing skull games. Trying to get inept Obongo to get the nervous Hershey Squirts, cave, and in a sweat send out on bended knee Bill Richardson, Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton, Jesse Jackson or Franklin Graham to kowtow to the Fat, Short One in Pyongyang and claim a PEACE victory at "the last moment" (Nobel Prize anyone?).

Kim and his rabid, bellicose media and "embassy evacuations" best be ignored, all the while we maintain our satellite intel, SIGINT, ELINT, HUMINT, OSINT and other forms of intelligence to watch every North Korean peninsular move, but show a stone face ourselves and publicly say very, very little.

This recent whiny State Dept. drivel via press conference of "But, but, but, North Korea, if you BEHAVE, you can become a member of the world community"!. DAMMIT THIS PLEA DOES NOT RESONATE WITH KIM JONG UN AND THEIR ENTIRE LEADERSHIP, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT IT AND HAVE NO INTEREST IN COMING OUT OF INTERNATIONAL ISOLATION AS A HERMETICALLY SEALED HERMIT KINGDOM, SO JUST DROP THE PLEADING AND WHINING, FOGGY BOTTOM FAGGOTS DEVOID OF REAL WORLD ASIA-PACIFIC STREET SMARTS.

Bad situation for the South. While the norks are enemies, and a real danger to them, and they would need our help if they wre invaded, on the other if the norks think someone is poking them with a stick, and do attack, the South will get the initial brunt of it, even if we are there to help. I don’t know what their feelings would be now..
