North Korea Likely To Launch 'A Relatively Small Attack That Won't Leave Many People Dead'

The most probable outcome of all these tensions is a low-level "tactical" strike from North Korea.

But don't worry, it'll be " a relatively small attack that won’t leave many people dead," Sue Mi Terry, a Columbia University professor who served as a senior analyst on North Korea at the CIA from 2001 to 2008, told Wired's Spencer Ackermann.

Analysts in the military, political, and intelligence fields have all pretty much said the same thing: Kim Jong-Un has painted himself into a corner, and the only way out is a gunfight.

Luckily they also say it won't be World War III.

And just when you think people can't possibly be that stupid they prove you wrong. What happens to her theory if say Russia and China decide to target us? They are after all allies of Goober Jr.? Oh, that's right...we can count on our Pretender in Chief to have his buddies start teaching kids how it was "All the fault of the USA". Jesus, I need a drink now.

we ought to hit them

Just give PRC and Russia a few hours notice , we are taking out North Korea , with prejudice .

Really nail them hard . No pulled punches .
As Lemay said , just bomb them into the Stone Age .
No quarter .
These people have chosen their leader , or kowtowed to him
one way or another , they’ve got to go .

No more kim chee

Zer0 will not retaliate. He cannot be bothered. His next vacation is a few weeks away.

I sincerely believe Zer0 wants North Korea to prevail.

Besides,53% of the people in the U.S. want subsidies. Please, no interference with
our food tamps, sect.8 housing, WIC etc.

As long as they limit it to Los Angeles, San Francisco and maybe Seattle, I don’t have a problem with it... :)

Relative to nukes, NK’s ability to one, miniaturize, two, launch, three, make it through our strategic defenses, are very low. And if one did, the damage, again relative to nukes, would be minimal. And in a matter of hours his country would be wiped off of the face of the earth. But to allow him to develop, and build an arsenal is reckless. We will have to deal with him and the longer we wait, the more damage he can do.

If they haven’t developed a small enough warhead to fit on top of a missile, then why not build a very big warhead and stick it in a jumbo jet or the hull of a cargo ship or submarine? What, North Korea doesn’t have any cool aid drinkers to deliver such a device?

And the Austro-Hungarian Empire will launch only a small punitive attack on a country nobody has heard of called Serbia.

While I share your sentiment, in fact many North Koreans are eating bark and grass. "Bomb(ing) them into the Stone Age" would be a step up for some.

At a minimum, any missile being fueled should be destroyed on the pad. If they don't like that, destroy their nuclear research and test facilities. Decapitation strikes to follow. This cat can be declawed.

Crazy as it seems - NKorea is willing to ‘sacrifice’ millions of its starving troops to a ‘first strike’ from SKorea.

They will have fewer mouths to feed. Led by China, Russia, Iran and others, the UN will lift sanctions on NK out of sympathy & take the opportunity to condemn SC and its allies.

This, IMHO, is what that boy king and his generals are planning.
