The State, Governor and every legislator who voted for this should should have a civil rights law suit brought against them. “...Shall not be infringed”

It isn’t you. It is that they will use you (and others) as an excuse to continue the crack down.

This is an open and public site. Saying you will attack “X” is a great way for X or Y to call for bans on web sites, guns, and who knows what else.

If a person in CT takes a 30 rd magazine in to get it registered can it now be seized as contraband because it has not yet been registered?

Or is there a time limit before they begin to seize them?

The new “assault weapons” ban went into effect when it was signed. Registration of “assault weapons” and 30 rd mags does not go into effect yet.

That isn’t going to happen, but I completely agree with you.

Any law a hundred pages long is a bad, ill thought mess. A well drafted bill should be read & discussed both in committee and then before each legislative body to iron out confusing language, how it addresses the intended issue and amended or deleted to put it in finished form. It should not be rushed through as that leads to errors & consequences not intended by the drafters.

Laws also should not be too general as that lets the administering officials bend it with rulemaking to cover results not intended when made law.

When laws are done ignoring these guidelines you get horrors such as Obamacare & this CT anti gun rights law.

Step 1: Pass ridiculous gun laws. Should the law ever affect criminal ability to get high capacity guns/,magazines, criminals will turn to “stealth” shooting. Then Step 2; total elimination of guns in the hands of honest citizens. Result: Thug rule and government overreach into our wallets without restraint. Without ability to honestly accumulate more wealth, we’ll get more thugs. Expect intense competition from thugs and goverment for your assets.

That isn’t going to happen

Why not? All it takes is one citizen to file a lawsuit.

I prefer a lariat loop. It doesn’t break the neck and they get to air dance for about 15 minutes while they meditate on their stupidity.

On this matter, as long as there's plenty of rope and trees, patriots need knot be judgemental.

Also, Cabelas should close their store in East Hartford and relocate it in Merrimack, NH.

I wonder: If I go into Colorado while on vacation and have a shotgun under one of the beds in our Airstream trailer and a Seecamp .32 in my pocket, will I be subject to arrest?

All the hardened criminals are reading the paper and quaking in their boots. Surely they will all rush down to their local police station and turn in their illegal guns and cartridges over 10.

Bull$h!t!
Here’s what will happen: crime will rise in the next few years, and the state will not be able to find a reason. They will be “baffled.”

Ever since December, I have been very, very carefully examining sources of where I buy firearms, accessories, etc.

Anywhere rabidly Blue is struck. Places like CT, NY et al are places on the web I no longer visit. I have all the firearms, etc. I’ll ever need. What I buy from now on is just whim.
