WASHINGTON (AP) — The number of Americans seeking unemployment aid rose to a four-month high last week, although the increase partly reflects seasonal distortions around the spring holidays.

The Labor Department says weekly applications increased 28,000 to a seasonally adjusted 385,000. That is the highest level since late November. The four-week average, a less volatile measure, rose to 354,250.

Why is hiring stalling?

Surely it couldn’t be Obamacare, an acknowledged broke program that will raise prices dramatically on employers.

Or, could it be:

An interest rate bubble?
Phony money valuation?
High taxes on repatriating overseas earnings?
A stock market bubble?
Artificial pricing on treasuries?
An inflation bubble?
A refusal to use our own energy?

Yes, because it means the Fed will have to keep flooding 85 billion a month into the economy.

Which means treasuries will remain low, making them a terrible investment.

The result: buy stocks if you hope to earn anything at all.

The stock market bubble is real. Dave Stockman says it’ll crash within the next 2 years.

Definitely a bubble. Place to make money but risky. I trade different than I ever have, and it’s working. Get in and out constantly. This POTUS is the worst ever but doesn’t mean you can’t make money off the idiot.

That’s pretty much what Stockman said. Take your cash regularly.

The banks need to get more people with unstable jobs to buy homes...

They only have a few million left to repo and resell to more suckers.

Easter distorts job hiring???

Except for some chocolate, bonnets, and baskets, I really don’t see how Easter season amounts to a lot of market distortion.

Dems have it covered.

by the 2014 midterms it will either be:

“greatest recovery ever”

or

“would have been the greatest recovery ever if Republicans hadn’t forced thru those budget cuts”

that was my point....other than easter, there aren’t any, and easter woulln’t affect hiring patterns. It’s just more media spin
