DENVER (TheBlaze/AP) — Ratcheting up pressure for Congress to limit access to guns, President Barack Obama said Wednesday that recent steps by Colorado to tighten its gun laws show “there doesn’t have to be a conflict” between keeping citizens safe and protecting Second Amendment rights to gun ownership.
“I believe there doesn’t have to be a conflict in reconciling these realities,” Obama said in Denver, where he stepped up his call for background checks for all gun purchases and renewed his demand that Congress at least vote on banning assault weapons and limiting access to large-capacity ammunition magazines.
The president dismissed gun owners’ concerns that gun control legislation could be a stepping stone to gun confiscation in the U.S., saying “I am constrained by a system our founders put in place.”

Is this not tantamount to an admission that, if he had his 'druthers, Obama would confiscate our guns?
And have we not learned that Obama will ignore the Constitution whenever he thinks he can get away with it?

The pres said something very similar about not being able to act on illegal immigration by himself and did just that prior to the election.
He has ignored the Constitution dozens of times and NOW he will follow it? For a constitutional scholar he is a shitty one that doesn’t know the meaning of infringe.
And nobody whose income is below $250K will have their taxes go up one dime!
I think they’d have returned Foggy Bottom to swampland over what the bulk of their successor administrations have done.

Then he expressed his intentions to battle ‘global warming,’ institute ‘immigration reform’ and seek ‘gun control.’
Sorry about all the scare marks, but we know what he wants because he’s told us: millions of tax dollars for bogus green boondoggles, millions of new demo-voters and ... our guns. Period.
