The US is moving an advanced missile system to the Pacific island of Guam as a precaution following threats by North Korea, the Pentagon has said.
The Department of Defence said it would deploy the ballistic Terminal High Altitude Area Defense System (Thaad) in the coming weeks.
Pyongyang has threatened to target South Korea and the US in recent weeks.
The state's warlike rhetoric follows new UN sanctions and joint military drills by the US and South Korea.

It shouldn’t tip over with missiles. Since we’re down to so few, the extra weight would be minimal. On the other hand, if the govt moved its Billions of hollow point bullets, thousands of MRAPS, and its newly acquired stocks of AR-15’s, that indeed would be a weight issue to give some concern to Guamians vis-a-vis the whole island tipping over...

Seems that the United States is just now preparing to take North Korea’s homidical madmen seriously.
Unfortunately, it’s about twenty years late.

My days in the Army, Thaad was Theater High Altitude Area Defense System, where does this Terminal come from? And, is there something past Patriot?
