That's about half of FR.
BTW, I don't give damn what names you call me. If you stayed away from Romney then damn you to hell for allowing Obama a second term.
Does someone have that quote that ends something like this: (paraphrase) "... let us forget your name". It's about capitulation and let those who capitulated be damned.
The disparity isn’t as big as everyone claims it is (between 2008 and 2012 turnout). 2012 turnout for Romney was roughly 800K less than turnout for McCain in 2008. The main reason McCain was able to get better turnout was because of the energy Sarah drove into the campaign.
Raw numbers:
2012
Obama: 62,611,250
Romney: 59,134,475
2008
Obama: 69,456,897
McCain: 59,934,814
Diff (2008 - 2012)
Obama: 6,845,647
Rep (McCain, Romney): 800,339
A lot more people that voted Dem in 2008 did not show up in that camp this last general election vs. those that supposedly tipped the scales for Obama by not showing up on the R side.
Interesting. I had a ballot with more than two parties under the PRESIDENT heading; seems to me you’re saying party loyalty is what it’s all about?
Sorry, but I voted for someone who would follow the Constitution, not give it lip service. My vote does not belong to a brand, and I’ve ‘left the plantation’ many a moon ago.
2012 is over, so there’s no need to re-hash how, in your opinion, lib. Mitt (along w/ the current House setup) was any better than what we got now. It sure as hell seems the House alone is bending over for the DEMs, no telling the rubber stamping that would have gone on if ‘their boy’ was in the W.H.
