The funniest part of your remark is that when we think of multiple marriage (is that a word?) we think of those poor emotionally abused women in the cult compounds and not of current, mostly spoiled, American women. I can barely handle the one American wife I have, but I was making a valid point. When are we going to legalize multiple marriage? That seems only fair if we legalize gay marriage on the principle that the sexual preferences of a definable minority group, aka protected class, are being infringed upon by the majority. How the world could anyone reasonably argue polygamists haven’t had their rights oppressed after claiming the same for gays?
