My old FFL out here just called and said he got 4 types of CTC Red Laser Grips in - no greens from their rep as they’re having some 3v battery-life problems and have to solve it quickly - so I’m taking them in at 10am to make choices and get them installed. I’ll p/u the 2 finished Kimbers after we get done with the day’s “list of tasks”. We made great progress today, but by 4pm, temp were dropping and snow squalls were moving thru the area.
where did that come from? its just a flat out lie - varney should have stopped and said ‘prove that - that is a lie - its hysteria - there is no limit on congress as to when they can address this - why are you making up lies?’
Like Hannity, Varney really doesn’t listen to the answers to his question. Too busy going on with their prewritten agenda.
That’s one of the grip models - rosewood, burled walnut, black rubber and something else - were the 4 choices, but the green lasers weren’t available from anyone, the rep said, although they’re advertising them. I just called the local Sars and they said all greens (grips) are on indefinite hold from CTC. rail units are readily available, but I’d have to lose my Galco FED 212 Paddle Holsters and get other units.
Look at the ‘description’ - G10 Green, 5mW Red Laser... am I reading the specs wrong?

Rep told FFL that the green laser slightly exceeds 5mW - probibited by fed law and is causing 3v 2032 battery life problems - so until they “fix it”, they’re delaying shipments of grip models. Rail models conform. Damn.

The Troy is good, and it folds pretty flat if you ever want to install optics.

Except I don’t know where to put the aperture. It says on the very back slot but the peep is so large when you look through it it doesn’t seem very accurate. I guess that’s how it’s supposed be for battle sights for quick acquisition? Stupid me already used Locktight to put it more towards the middle. I wanted this for rifle league so I guess I can fold down the 300yd peep and use that instead...
