Do you think God is sitting there, thinking about how He will clean things out, but knowing it will all be the same in xxx number of years. Will this be the second or third time?
Second time the plate is wiped clean, Sodom was a surgical strike and does not count as a world wide affair. But Mathew 24 Luke and Mark all speak of the end of the days of Gentiles, and the coming of the day of the Lord’s Wrath. Revelation is a pretty interesting picture of the final train wreck. The 7th seal is the beginning of the flood so to speak.
We are watching the sea withdraw from the land, when the sun turns black and the moon turns red will be when the tide returns, with a vengance. That is the point that Gods wrath will begin to clean them out. The interesting thing is that when God turns up the heat He will do it slowly, to give everyone a chance to apologise.
But few will to the bitter end.
Then, a fresh start that will be the best thousand years this tired planet has ever known.
God doesn't need to think about it. He knows all, sees all that was and will be for all time. If we accept the reset button on humanity after The Flood and, arguably, again with Christ's Resurrection to happen for the last time with the Second Coming... what are we talking about here?
