Mika To Google On Chavez-Over-Easter Choice: Admit You 'Screwed Up'
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 04/01/2013 5:08:04 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

That Mika Brzezinski is a dyed-in-the-wool liberal is well-known. Less publicized: the Morning Joe host is also a person of faith with traditional views on a number of subjects.

So it actually shouldn't come as a great surprise that Brzezinski sided with those criticizing Google for its choice of devoting its homepage doodle yesterday to celebrating the birthday of Cesar Chavez, rather than honoring Easter. Said Mika on today's Morning Joe: "how about a statement one day that just says: 'we screwed up'?"

They screwed up by dropping the veil.

Commies (like Mika) know that they can only advance their cause under cover.

She’s a “person of faith”?

If you go to Google’s website, you can see all of the doodles they have ever posted. There was one for Easter a few years ago. Just search for Easter when you get there. It shows two colored eggs for the Os. Now, I’ll bet those with extremely thin dermis will say, “See, they only showed secular things, not religious ones”. So, I’ll have to conclude that what a wise person told me long ago is true. He said, “When one goes looking for trouble, he always finds it”.

If you go to Bing’s website, you’ll see better doodles, and a “top of the news” bit.

Bing is far more informative.

I may never use Google again. I’m series.

I believe Google doesn’t do religious holidays ... when was the last Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu doodle shown in the United States?
