The Obamas ended 2012 and kicked off 2013 in an $8 million, 6,000-square-foot house in Hawaii (they left well before Dec. 25, by the way). There, the president played five rounds of golf (breaking the 100-rounds-as-president threshold). Scarcely a month into Term 2, Mrs. Obama headed off for Aspen, taking along the couple’s daughters. Vice President Joseph R. Biden also hit the Colorado slopes. While the girls (and Joe) were gone, Mr. Obama nipped down to Florida for a four-day boys weekend of golf, teeing it up with his buddies — and Tiger Woods. He hit the links again this weekend, then dropped in for an NCAA tournament game in Washington.
Jumpin’ Joe, for his part, spent New Year’s in the Virgin Islands and popped off over the Easter weekend for a golf outing at the glorious Kiawah Island, S.C. (where rounds of golf on the spectacular Ocean Course run $353 — nearly $20 a hole). His third vacation of the year came the same week as reports that he and his entourage spent $460,000 for a single night in London

Every time I hear about these freeloaders going on vacation I think of the homeless and the poor children that will not have a bed to sleep in like other children..I was talking to my daughter about some of these people her and others give out sleeping bags,coats and health items to these people on the streets..
I read how these pathetic communist could care less while people are going hungry while they live it up on Lobster and champagne..One day these freeloader will choke on all that food they stuff their guts with..

You know they desperately wanted to go, especially Michelle, who stated publicly that she'd go if she were invited. Well, she was not invited. That's what she gets for wearing a sweater and not wearing nylons to see the Queen. Slapping Elizabeth on the back was the last straw. No royal wedding invites for her!
I am the same age as 0bama, he is about 2 months older than me. He and his family have taken more vacations in his time as pResident as I have my entire life. And I’ve done reasonably well over the years.
It is just mind blowing how in your face they are about not giving a flying %&@$ about the perception of Roman Emperoresque excesses, or for the people who pay for the first moochers extravagances. But in another way it is not, because it is not due to some blindness to how they appear, but it is done on purpose.....and I”m sure they really believe that they are “owed” it.

I think many blacks are conditioned to celebrate when another black pulls one over on whitey, cons the system, beats the man, etc. You DO NOT see blacks celebrating the success of blacks who have worked hard, studied hard, planned, saved, built, joined the military to get out of the ghetto, raised their own kids, took responsibility, etc.

My daughter, who studies celebrities and how people feel about them, calls this “false intimacy.” You think you know a celebrity, and of course, the person behind the mask is so often very different. What strikes me is that this guy doesn’t even throw coins at his crowd of followers.
I think this is what is behind the ubiquitous tendency of black democrats, once elected, to graft and extort as much as possible from the "government" (ie, taxpayers) to enrich themselves and their friends and families.
Well, this is not really different from Italians/Sicilians who supported the Mafia, or the Irish who supported the corrupt urban political machines. They have this notion that the game was rigged and that they had to cheat to win.
Yes, just look at what they have done to Detroit,what they did to NYC /Chicago under black mayors.

I remember back in the early nineties, Carol Coe, a city council member was having most of her living expenses paid for by the city and/or her campaign funding and was indignant when anyone would question her on it.
I am currently visiting Virginia and just got done reading the Outlook section of the Washington Post. This is the one editorial piece that highlights the best efforts of the WaPo editorial board for the preceding week. In its eight pages, there is not a single word printed that is critical of any aspect of this current regime, (although there was an article that was critical of Bush).
We are seeing the same thing happening in the fascist takeover of Cypriot bank accounts. Those with 'connections' were able to get their millions out days in advance, yet no one in the media is reporting this. Instead, they are happy to paint the Russians as victims in all of this.

Look at the members of the Congressional Black Caucus how ridiculous some of them dress and some of the things they do.
One of the best examples is Sheila Jackson Lee.
Wears her hair in a crown, takes a limo instead of walking 1 block, makes people walk behind her, it goes on and on.
To normal people she's nothing but a clown, but in her district it make her look important.
I think it is different in that the Irish and Italians never doubted the value of hardwork. You never heard an Irish-American kid say studying hard in school was “acting English” or “acting WASPish”.
It isn’t about a “notion that the game was rigged and that they had to cheat to win”. It’s bigger than that. Too many black Americans simply have no concept of the game itself. It is foreign to them.
No, they live the 1/100th of 1% life.
