I am with you about God's being in control, but Obama is the most far left, most incompetent POTUS that I have seen in my life time of 63 years! To compare yours and others perceived liberalism in GWB to what Obama has demonstrated in his first term is also to compare apples and oranges! Just look at the cynical way he has approached the sequester - which is not really a cut at all, but a reduction in the amount of growth. He has deliberately tried to select things that will cause the most pain so that he can blame everything on the Republicans! He is in full-time campaign mode even though he cannot constitutionally run for another term. He has escaped blame for the deaths at Benghazi and for those that occurred due to Fast and Furious. No matter how much you dislike George Bush, you have to admit that were he still the POTUS, there would already have been articles of impeachment drawn up! When I used the term “interlopers”,I meant that the Obamas seem to be using the American people to provide them with the life style that they would never have been able to achieve had he not been elected president (expensive vacations for them and their cronies, extravagant spending on clothes and shoes by Michelle, golfing outings for Obama, etc.)

In context, it’s not apples and oranges, especially viewing the leftward shift from the beginning of the twentieth century onward. Obama is certainly the culmination, and the other side of the “red line” to use a cliché. Maybe tangerines (Bush) with Seville oranges (Obama)?
