On this Resurrection Sunday....take time today....put down all of the news, blogs and all of the cares of this world. Take a walk outside and look upon the beauty of His creation, or play with your child or pet. Find something to do that is quiet and peaceful and let your soul rest in Him today. And remember that He has overcome the World. Jesus is coming back just as He said and He would, and He will separate the wheat from the chaff and all that are found in Him will be with Him forever. Evil will not triumph...Praise God through Jesus Christ our Lord!
Philippians 4:8
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Amen. Just home from church. We had a wonderful service and a well packed house. Sadly, I wish about 25% of those would come back next Sunday and not just make this one of their yearly one or two trips to church.

I am right with you....the sadness, torture, suffering, thoughtlessness, starvation, ignorance, cruelty, pain, loss.....is overwhelming sometimes...i look forward to afterlife...in HEAVEN...(i hope)

Went to Mass today. Will admit, it’s been a while.
But the homily was great — and I did find rest, for a few minutes today.
The priest gave a very good reminder that we are in this world, but not of it. We are caught up in time, but we belong in eternity — and we WILL go there someday. And that’s sometimes why life can be so hard ...but we have to keep faith. We are Saved, We are Found, We are Forgiven ....and We must always remember ...We are HIS children ...we know because He is Risen.
You need to start going to church more often. It gets easier the more you do it.
My sisters are big same sex marriage fans.
Before saying Grace I told the group that Easter is more than chocolate eggs and the easter bunny it's about the Risen Christ. Then I read from the Bible- John 6:35-37,You could have heard a pin drop in the room.
