Mark Kelly: “40% of all purchases of guns don’t have background check”.

Liar! That’s a bogus number that includes grandpa giving little Billy his shotgun.

Chris Wallace is a dumb MFer!

Mark Kelly on FNS promoting universal background check and spouting other RAT talking points.

Wallace now asking him about his recent attempt to purchase a 45. Talking about how easy it was to do the 5 min background check.

Wallace retorting the Loughner had passed a background check and purchased the gun he used to shoot Kelly’s wife. Wallace also noting that the pertinent facts that would have denied him the purchase were not available.

Wallace: Doesn’t the NRA have a point that the mental health records need to be available to background checks? Kally agrees.

Kelly expressing sympathy for Loughner and his parents who knew of his mental illness and dangerous tendencies and did not get him help (committed)

He would have been fine in public if he had been on his meds.

Geeeeeeez! (asinine)

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL! Just a few posts before I have to leave for church.

Watching ABC Round table on gay marriage. Everyone agrees, done deal......Kristine Vanden Huvel - SC justices are way behind society.

Senators switch on gay marriage - follow the money from the donors.

Matthew Dowd - the traditional view of marriage for the last 2000 years has been: women were property, different races couldn’t marry, nonmonogaomous (sp?) marriages. (Wow, this dude has become so snotty about anything conservative and moral.)

I don’t post very often but I want to wish a very Happy Easter to all.

I’m just not going to watch any of the Sunday shows, don’t want to ruin the reverence of the day.

We are having dear friends over for dinner, worked on it all day yesterday. Our family is so spread out and gets together every other summer.

I want to tell Pat that she is my idol. I love reading your posts. You truly help me to keep going. And I also enjoy Bray’s inciteful thoughts. Actually, this thread is most helpful in fighting the evils of our day. So thank you AB for posting and thank you to all for your comments.

ABC - Peter King - did I just hear him say he supports the president’s posiion on the gun control debate?....but then he goes on to say he supports the peoples’ views on gun control also.

Okay - whole panel on ABC agrees again on gun control debate. Vanden Huvel - the movement is towards more gun control.

Dowd (gun owner himself he says - whoopee!) - sense in Middle America is that elites are trying to tell them what to do. Thinks Bloomberg could do better. Thinks the NRA is not that powerful, politicians need to get over the NRA.

And now onto immigration reform - all agree it’s coming. There is a deal on guest worker issue being resolved. This is a big deal. Political suicide for the Republicans if they don’t pass immigration reform.

There are a bunch of idiots on this panel. So glad they know what this country wants.....or at least they think they do.

Wallace now asking the Archbishop about SCOTUS considering packer “marriage”.

He says the Church welcomes everyone, but he is somewhat overly conciliatory towards the view of soddomites being “who they are”, members of the church.

Equating the non-recognition of queer “marriage” to that of divorced/remarried couples.

Of course all the liberal elitists know what is good for America. They have done such a fantastic job so far.

If they are so brilliant, why haven’t they matched Bush’s 4% unemployment rates? They are the cause of high unemployment.

Now they are going for the kill. The only thing that is semi holding this society together is the church and if they can force the church out of America they then are god. The women’s movement and abortion has marginalized the church and divided the society. It has also built a solid voting block for their allies in the Democrat Party whose leaders are fully on board with their agenda. Women now believe if they cannot have access to abortion they are not equal to a man which puts the church in the position of protecting the voices inside the womb. Of course the women’s movement calls that sexist and alienates the church from mainstream society since the Three Pillars of Propaganda (media, academia and the DNC) determine what is mainstream, isolating the church and Christians.

Now the communists want to destroy the Christian churches in America by making it a law you must marry homosexuals or lose your church. They want to make it a crime of discrimination for a pastor to deny the rights of poor oppressed homosexuals if you refuse to marry them. They will then punish the church and pastors both through public humiliation and ridicule as well as financial punishment such as taking away the tax exemption and finally, jail. This will effectively destroy the Christian church which has been their goal since the 1930’s because the church stands in the way of the communist utopia.

This is probably semantical, but they don’t really want to DESTROY the church, they want to CO-OPT it.

Andropov learned the hard lesson that followed from Stalin and Khruschev who both wanted to destroy the church. It was something the people would never abide. So...

Andropov’s KGB began infiltrating the church, even at the ecclesiastical school level, and infiltrating it so completely that the Orthodox representative to the west at Canterbury was eventually a KGB plant with decades spent inside the church, using it to the State’s purposes at every juncture of his “career.”

Likewise is “gay marriage” a matter of infiltration, or influence, seeking not to destroy the family system but to redefine it as an appendage of the State—as you say.

“Marriage” will be whatever the State says it is. I’m guessing the Bush Family’s chief collaborator, John Roberts, will move this matter forward at least an increment in whatever “decision” is arrived at by the Court.

If I’m correct about this, Roberts is taking his marching orders from Comrade Rove, who has clearly signalled that even the Menshevik party wants full government control over “marriage.”

Kelly shows his ignorance or his stupidity again. Internet sales, he says, are not subject to background checks. All internet sales which are made by licensed FFL dealers must be shipped to another FFL dealer where background checks must be made before delivery to the purchaser. Mental health risks CANNOT, by law, be entered into NICS unless the person has been adjucated by a judge to be mentally deficient. Kelly also said that Laughner being expelled from school should have put his name on NICS for no-buy! Again, Kelly shows his ignorance or stupidity. Kelly is a media whore, that is all!

When the average male homosexual has over four hundred partners why would you expect a marriage to one person to last? But that isn’t why it is being promoted.

The driving factor rallying male gays to “gay marriage” is that it will fully consolidate their “right” to adopt young boys. That’s all these people really care about in this matter. Gay men are massively pedophiliac in nature and mind. I lived about 15 years in two of the most infamously homosexual urban neighborhoods on the east coast and it is more correct to say that “the only thing they really care about is scoring boys” than it is incorrect.

These are really sick people, really sick.

Actually the whole SSM thing is fraught with propaganda and disinformation.

The only group actually interested in a durable legal bond are munchers. It should actually be called “lesbian marriage”.

Just like Mao’s China, women work in the factories to support the growing State while the kids are raised in the childcare centers.

Or, as Comrade Lieutenant General Secretary, CP USA, Hilaryova Rodhamsieva Clintonieva once famously plagiarized, “It takes a village to raise a child.”

(And if you don’t think so we’ve set a Potemkin Village sure to convince you otherwise.)

Well, to an extent that IS correct.

There's all kinds of sin in the world we're all guilty of. All we can do is hope and pray for forgiveness...

The kind that asks us to accept as NORMAL behavior what is sin, though, whether it be homosexual love or serial divorce, is the biggest problem, and a way to lead the clergy and laity to perdition.

There are a lot of people in this country now who do NOT consider homosexual love, or consumation of sex outside of marriage to be a sin at all. In fact, many think it is worthy of adoration or respect as it shows "love". I think we're also reaching a point where people who are OK with the gay lifestyle are the majority.

For my sake, gay sex and expression are private matters I want nothing to know about. Why should I know about a person's sexual preference??? I do NOT want to know!

From a Christian perspective, I do believe a homo should not be beaten or arrested for expressing gay love--no more than an adulterer or a person in an extramarital affair, but just don't ask me to condone sin. I'll pray for them all, rather. And of course, my very imperfect self...

As Jesus said, "Go, and sin no more."
